This experience was everything short of amazing. The host took about 8-15 hours to respond to messages regarding our booking. The furniture, flooring, and linen was covered in dog hair. We asked about possibly getting the place cleaned up and no one came nor was a solution provided. She started responding when we threatened to cancel our booking. Please consider this when booking this property. If you book, take pictures. I wouldn’t come back here which is sad considering how nice the property is.

They have a really cute backyard with a clean & well functioned jacuzzi. Indoor areas is OK. It gets cold at night, and the ac didn’t really help with the thin covers. We heard neighbors dogs barking through out the night.

Cute and cozy. Clean inside. Hot tub and fireplace were awesome. Would have loved for the patio furniture to be clean so we could sit and enjoy outside. Was able to make use of the picnic table instead though. I would recommend some more basic cooking supplies like a spatula, mixing bowl and griddle. If the heater isn’t turning on, the pilot went out. A book of instructions would be a good touch as well. Wasn’t sure how they wanted the place cleaned when we left. Overall I would stay here again. Thank you!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for me, my adult daughter and my 10 year old son! It was cozy and still roomy enough for us to relax and enjoy each others company. The hot tub was a hit for my daughter and I to relax in, after out adventuring during the day. We cooked 3 meals in the cabin during our 2 night stay, so having the kitchen was also a plus! The cabin was clean and came equipped with everything we needed. Great neighborhood! We will definitely stay again!!!! Kylee was a great host!!!
a bit to be desired if you like to cook your own meals on vacation, possible but limited kitchen supplies. hot tub was nice and warm but had an aggressive amount of chlorine. place cools off nicely in the evenings

Thank you for your feedback Bryan. I have let spa maintenance know about the chlorine levels.
It is a tiny place with a tiny kitchen, we provide basics so its possible to cook but most guests eat out while on vacation.
I enjoyed this property very much. It was very clean and the amenities were very thoughtful. We couldn't get both sets of jets to work on the hot tub but it still felt nice to soak in. We thought no A/C would be a problem in late July but with windows open and fans going it felt great. We did have a small problem with ants but who doesn't during the summer? I would definitely use this property again. It was a good size for 2 guys because of the loft area to sleep. 3 adults could stay comfortably and of family of 4 could make due. Nice and quaint for a party of 2 though!

Thank you for your feedback Richard.
We regularly treat for insects but ants have a way of getting around our best efforts during certain times of the year. I'm sorry you experienced this. I have also since added a portable AC for added temperature control.
Kylee made this property so cute and accessible! It was the perfect distance from the mountain for snowboarding and restaurants for dinner. Kylee was super helpful with any questions we had.

About the host

I have lived half my life in Los Angeles, CA and consider it my home. Everything you can think of is available in this town and within an hour and a half I can be in the mountains at a cabin skiing. While I love being at home, I like knowing that within moments I could be enjoying all the area has to offer. I am a very active person and I’ve spent a great deal of time exploring the great outdoors. The first half of my life was spent growing up in Utah and I’ll always have an affinity for the mountains and pines! I am a marathon runner and love to hike and run wherever I travel. I have 4 wonderful children and they love to help me host in our beautiful home in the city and our picturesque mountain cabins.
Why they chose this property
This charming 1-bedroom cabin is the perfect escape for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains. With a warm and inviting design, this cabin has everything you need to relax and enjoy your Big Bear adventure.
