We had a wonderful weekend at Margaret's bach. It has everything one would need or want and is in such a neat location with beautiful views and just a short walk into town.
Great spot close to town. Communication was excellent as was the information around checking in etc. Good sized bedrooms and living area/kitchen was superb. Nice and warm during our stay where temperatures were sub zero.
Property was in a great location. Heat pumps worked a treat to keep us warm in chilly Taupo. Had all the basics we needed. Was comfy and I loved the selection of glasses. Priced well.
We had a lovely time at this bach. Great location, so easy to get in and out of town. Has a lovely view, even prettier in real life. We loved the fire place at night and the deck area was lovely for a bbq. Spacious and had everything our group needed. Hosts were easy to get a hold of. Will definitely be back.
We enjoyed our stay, but were not impressed that fridge had not been properly cleaned and there was old and mouldy food left in it (margarine).

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Waihinau, quiet location, close to town, very helpful host with all our needs met.
Thank you for allowing us to take Amelia, our little dog with us - she loved it too!
We were so happy with this little place.
It was modern, beautifully presented, warm, close to town, quiet and private. The view to the marina is pretty at night and theres a nice big grass area to walk the dog.
Our family really loved our stay.
The extensive library was welcome on rainy afternoons.
Margaret was a great communicator and we would highly recommend this place for families.
We hope to come back again.
Thanks so much.

The house was in a great location and we enjoyed our stay.
The house was in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. One problem we did have was the large amount of dead insects on the beds and floors in the outside cabin. This was easily fixed with the vacuum, but the rooms should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. We apologize for using the linen on the beds, but as the beds were made up when we arrived we assumed it was ok to use them.
Response from VrboOwner on 25 Mar 2020
We have recently had the property sprayed for insects due to an ANT problem. The clean would have been completed 3 days before your arrival so I guess more died in the mean time. Really sorry we appreciate they are ghastly! We are not around to change linen so beds are left with protective linen but not made up as per the information you recieved.

This property had it all.
This property had it all. Plenty of heating on a freezing weekend which made it comfortable. All the necessary amenities required for an enjoyable stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Shame we didn't get to enjoy it during the day as we were at the Taupo race track but he location was easy for driving to the track and the supermarket.
Fantastic location & well appointed.
Our stay was during winter and the heating was excellent.
Only issue was the sleep out bathroom which didn’t have hot water
