Beach House , Harbour View, Beach and Sunsets

Enjoy fabulous sunsets from the deck taking in the lovely bay view. The house sits up on a half acre section providing privacy and stunning views of water and bush. Lots of parking right next to the house.
Built in 2009, this comfortable open plan house has a modern, well equipped kitchen and facilities - large gas stove (electric oven) , large fridge/freezer with ice water dispenser and plenty of bench space. Eat meals at the breakfast bar, outside on the large table on the deck, or at the more formal dining table- plenty of room, plenty of options!
A BBQ area is handy to the kitchen and dining areas.
Large grassed flat section with plenty of room for the boat or for the kids.
Expansive bay and bush views from large decks at front of house or garden and scenic view from the decks at the rear of the house.

Each bedroom has a queen size bed and french doors opening onto the decks- all bedrooms have a great aspect. A single roll out bed and mattresses are also available. You can opt to have linen supplied (at $15 per person) or bring your own. (Linen includes : sheets, duvets, pillows , towels, face cloths, tea towels).
10 minute stroll to the bay beach.
Well stocked mini supermarket, bottle store, bakery (awesome pies!) and Cafe (great coffee!) only 5 minutes walk. A beauty/hair salon and gym in the mini shopping area Good quality take away 8 mins drive.
Charming award winning Parua Bay pub on the water is a great place to enjoy excellent quality food and cold beer and is 5 minutes drive- very family friendly and a must to visit. Boat ramp/ fishing is only 5 minutes drive. Whangarei City 20 mins drive.
Great bush walks and lovely bays on the way to the Whangarei Heads. Ocean Beach is only 12 minutes drive and is a beautiful location with great surf- life saving surf patrols operate during usual hours. Golf course and tennis court 5 minutes away. Now with fast wireless broadband, smart TV for all online needs.

Smoking allowed outside only and not on decks. No shoes inside -leave on decks.

Fabulous place in the lovely whangarei heads

We were a mixed family group attending a family wedding just up the road, the Bach was really well appointed, comfortable and clean. We were all disappointed we weren’t staying longer….. with the added bonus that we had never been to the Whangarei heads area and fell in love!!!

Parua Bay Christmas

This property is a very spacious, comfortable, well appointed house. Although it rained most of the time we stayed, there is a long covered deck at the front of the house where you could sit outside. The view is great. Very happy with the accommodation. The host was pleasant and easy to liaise with.

nicely appointed 4 bedroom home, an ideal fit for a grown up family and we all enjoyed having our own space. Lovely open plan kitchen/ lounge/ deck flow. Proximity to some of Northland's finest beaches was a real plus. It's hot at night though, and you'll need lots of insect repellant!

The house is large and modern with good facilities and everything you need for a holiday. The big section is a real bonus for the kids. Well located with shops just up the road with plenty to do in the area and great beaches out on the coast.A top spot.

This property is owned by a family trust and we regularly use the house around bookings from other parties. As a result it’s set up with a very personal touch which will make you feel welcome and relaxed.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we needed to have a generous view of the water, closeness to a surf beach (12 minutes) , closeness to a good boat ramp (5 minutes), handy to useful shops (5 mins walk), and a decent size section ( on half an acre). If it was close to a good pub then that was a bonus - and it is ! Parua Bay Pub is an awesome place to take your family for great food .

What makes this property unique

Comfortable, modern, well equipped house with FREE wireless internet and smart TV! Surround sound stereo completes a great entertainment facility. A huge kitchen with great facilities means you can really cook up a storm! (If you want !)
