One of the best weekends of our lives!

Where to start, the stunning views on the way down to the property, the convenient location that's close to town yet tucked away, or the wonderful casita itself.Linda was a wonderful host who was responsive, helpful, and most importantly, made us feel like we were truly guests in someones home. She provided excellent restaurant recommendations as well. The casita is so well decorated, clean, and well thought out. She even wrote out little post-it instructions on everything that could possibly be confusing!! It's the little things like this that truly made our stay so memorable. For our future visits, this is the only place we will be staying :)

Excellent accommodations, wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linda's Casita. It was a very quiet and serene area, in the shadow of Cathedral Rock. We felt it was perfectly located to everything we did in the Sedona area yet apart enough for tranquility. We loved the private garden and hot tub an the Casita itself was beautiful. We recommend this property highly for a stay in the Sedona area.

We had an amazing time at Linda’s place- she was very communicative and the home was well taken care of. A nice clawfoot tub, comfy bed and spacious living areas made it a place we would definitely visit again! A short walk to Oak Creek was definitely worth it!

honeymoon getaway

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was close enough to downtown but far enough to have plenty of peace and quiet. The views from where we stayed were awesome. Plenty of hiking right near the house. House was perfect for the 2 of us. We both enjoy cooking and there was more than enough kitchen accomodations to do so. Would definatetly book this house again.

Charming casita in West Sedona

Cozy, cute cottage just right for 2 people. It offered almost everything we needed--and then some. Communication with the owner was excellent and clear. Listing is accurate, though the lighting situation is on the dim side. We truly enjoyed our 5-night stay.

Absolutely wonderful 😊

We stayed at the Casita for a week at the end of May. It was like being at home! We had everything we could have asked for plus some. Relaxing and winding down after exploring was what we were looking for. This was the perfect spot 😊The land is beautiful everywhere you look and staying at the casita made our trip that much more memorable. We will definitely stay here for future travels to Sedona!

Sedona Snuggle

Overall, cute, cozy cabin for a couple. It is a shared property. Large house with 2 smaller units, this one is on the end. No one else stayed while we were there so we enjoyed the yard and hot tub in private. Great location for multiple hiking trails & the shuttle. Out of town but convenient for shopping and lots of other activities.

Relaxation and Re-charge

I absolutely love staying at Linda's home. Even though I still had to work some of the time- I was able to sleep, read, and recharge. The water is delicious. If there are any issues whatsoever, Linda responds quickly and is an incredible host. Thank you, always.

Aptly Named - Serenity

A lovely casita perfect for a couple, Sedona Serenity Casita is well-stocked with essentials, clean, comfortable, quiet, conveniently located, and well-managed by Linda. We ran into an unforeseen bump and Linda responded immediately to resolve it. We hiked about 60 miles of trails and were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the area. We would definitely look forward to a return visit!

Perfect location

Absolutely perfect little gem located so close to Cathedral Rock . Linda had everything you needed to feel right at home . Loved soaking in the tub . The bed was super comfy and loved having a washer and dryer and a stocked kitchen with all the cookware needed. The back patio was perfect area with lots of seating and a nice hot tub. It was very helpful to find a book put together with everything you needed that included local restaurants, nice trails walking distance and close by. Loved this hidden gem would definitely stay again .

Perfect spot: Easy access to hiking and West Sedona but off the beaten path

This spot was absolutely perfect. We were just ten minutes from dining in West Sedona. There was plenty of hiking nearby without having to get in our car (we were able to do the Cathedral Rock hike from the doorstep - though it required crossing over some strategically placed logs on Oak Creek towards the eastern end of the Crescent Moon grounds). The kitchen was well outfitted (though we did not end up cooking) and the access to the hot tub was lovely on the cooler desert nights. We would definitely rent again!

Like no where else!!! BEAUTIFUL

Thank you so much for sharing your precious casita with us. We found everything we needed and the little home was so comfortable - I love your artistic touches. We wanted to go into the hot tub, but unfortunately my chronic migraines were so bad, I couldn’t risk getting into hot water. Your garden is beyond words. I wish I could have walked more and examined all the varieties of plants. You truly do a wonderful job. The city of Sedona is exquisite. We loved just riding around and admiring the formations - like no where else in the world. If ever we get here again, please accept our call - we enjoyed your cordiality. Mike and Monty

Lovely garden, comfortable house, gracious owner

My husband, two large dogs and I spent a fabulous week in Linda's casita after making the drive from Cincinnati. It was well worth the long trip to have such a cozy and well-equipped house with a private, fenced-in yard. The yard is actually a beautifully landscaped garden (though still dog-friendly), with several places to sit. As others have mentioned, the neighborhood is a quiet one with many dirt roads and dead end streets. There was very little traffic and absolutely no highway noise. We had many good places nearby to walk with our dogs, and also good trails for hiking. I would also like to mention that we enjoyed some excellent bird watching right around the neighborhood. We've stayed in many VRBO houses, and this was among the best equipped and also one of the best overall situations for people like us who travel with dogs. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant but accommodations need updating

I have rented many homes through Vrbo including three other rentals in Sedona. This is an ok place but aside from the owner's artsy touches nothing special. It seems that this accommodation was a different layout originally. There appears to be what was a fireplace in the bedroom which is now blocked. However the raised hearth remains with a metal edge. The path from one side of the bed to the bathroom cuts right across this raised hearth and we tripped over it many times. I find it hard to believe the owner risks this liability and no one mentioned it in any other reviews. We also found the living area furniture very uncomfortable for sitting and watching TV.

Gem of a Casita!

We stayed in Linda's Casita for six (6) days and wished we could stay! It was peaceful, stocked with anything you could want, good wifi, even a landline phone, nice shower with good water pressure, great little private backyard garden, nice TV. She even welcomed our dog with special treats and sheet to put on the couch if the dog wanted to lay on the couch! Location is a little out of town, near Cathedral Rock. You can walk to Cathedral Rock, go to the vortex area or picnic in that park. Drive to the Casita was beautiful; most gorgeous views of Cathedral Rock and the other mountains! There are a couple hiking areas within walking distance from the Casita. Lots of material was supplied about restaurants, hiking, things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed a Pink Jeep tour to the Honanki Ruins. Then there was the "white knuckle" ride from Prescott over the mountain, through Jerome, back to Sedona! Beautiful though! Linda thoughtfully has provided so many amenities and made sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this Casita!

Solitude and beauty in West Sedona

This was my 3rd and final life trip to Sedona - 1994, 2012, 2024. Travelling solo this trip. Sedona Serenity exceeded my expectations! The casita is on the far edge of town, away from the mayhem and traffic. Tucked away on the "back" side of the mountains you see along 179, I heard nothing but birds, and the wind in the juniper trees. All the services you need are just a few miles away on 89a. It took 45 minutes to get to Yavapai and Bell Rock trailhead parking lots at 10 AM, but only 20 minutes at 530 PM. Wonderfully furnished spaces and fully stocked kitchen; I was able to prepare all my own meals. Bed was very comfortable, and entire property was immaculate. I so enjoyed the private garden hot tub at all times of day. Morning temperatures were much cooler than what Weather Bug forecasted, so I appreciated a little heat. Never needed the AC, with windows and sliding doors open it was very comfortable days and evenings. I took day trips to Crane Petroglyph National Heritage site, Cottonwood, and up 89A North to the artisan market at the lookout parking lot. The last was my favorite drive - besides the obvious red rock explorations - forest and so opposite of the desert landscape. The artisan market in West Sedona was also a fun place to browse and shop. Shout out to Nationwide Pack and Ship for a family-owned business to trust with shipping all my purchased treasures home.

Pros and cons

The owner helped us greatly with the reservation arrangements during Covid uncertainty times. Although, this is a fairly small rental it was large enough for just the two of us. The rental really has the potential to be quite charming. I’m not trying to be critical just honestly helpful. 1. The tile floor needs a good clean and shine. 2. Fix things that are broken or worn out. Such as: A. Hot tub works but needs to work better. And get a new cover that is easier for people to lift off properly. B. Fix the sky light above the bed. C. Fix the shower knobs so they don’t take away from the wonderful shower. D. The bath tub also needs a little TLC. E. Yes, the yard is lush and private, and one day of professional trimming would make it wonderful, Get rid of the fake plants inside and out and replace with real ones. F. A couple of the dining room chairs need some screws refitted and and slides added to the legs. G. Check your information cards for accuracy and clarity. H. Consider some up grades on window treatments and interior paint. More positives! Quiet neighborhood, great value with above improvements. All the other people who commented so positively are mostly right. When I come back to Sedona, I’ll give this place a shot again because I think the owner wants her guests to be 100 percent satisfied.

About the host

I always dreamed of owning a B&B, and love to create comfortable living space. Sharing the casita with visitors is a dream come true for me.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! I love this area near Red Rock Crossing and the creek. When I used to vacation in Sedona it was the only area I would stay...it has such a peaceful country feel, yet close to town. When I at last bought the house, it's history and unique charm won me over from the 'cookiecutters'

What makes this property unique

This property is the most nurturing, peaceful place I've ever lived. It has a rural feeling, and is great for nature-lovers. The lane is so welcoming...it feels like a perpetual summer vacation, as I walk down the neighborhood trail to the creek, greeting the neighbors.
