About this property

No.63 | Stay Waiheke

Sited at the top of the Onetangi Hill, in a crow's nest position, No.63 is totally private - surrounded by expansive gardens and breathtaking views to the north, west and east. This beautifully renovated beach-style house has been completely rebuilt as a luxury hideaway.
The meticulously planned ground floor living areas open up through 10 glass sliders onto a spacious two-level deck where guests can relax with a chilled glass of wine on Coast beanbags and outdoor loungers. The decks overlook the 13m stunning pool with jaw dropping views. On an island renowned for fabulous views, this spot is truly breathtaking. Window seats frame the ground floor area and there are sunny spots throughout the house for everyone to curl up with a book and relax. Comfortable lounges, a fully equipped luxury kitchen, large dining area and seamless indoor/outdoor flow makes this home perfect for stylish entertaining.
There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main level of the house. The master bedroom/ensuite shower room opening to a large deck (with amazing views over the headlands) and a second bedroom with three single beds are on the upper level. Between the upstairs bedrooms is a sunny living area which also opens on to the deck.

The adjacent studio, linked by a bridge walkway, houses another queen bed, one single bed and bathroom. There is also a second TV area with comfy beanbags.

This home works beautifully in all seasons. Amenities include, Chromecast, Bose wireless speaker, great books to read & board games. Outside grounds stretch out towards the emerald waters of the westerly coastline of Waiheke and there is plenty of room to play games or picnic in the garden.

Excellent Family Spot

We had a lovely visit and can’t wait to return. Pros: the rental agent/team were amazing. We had flights cancelled and ended up arriving a day late and they were so accommodating. Plus they were very responsive to questions during our stay. Cons: the house is very creeky. Charming but it’s tough to sleep while others are awake—unless they’re in the guest house. The driveway is extremely steep. I know it’s common for the island but it can be intimidating.
