Overall enjoyable cottage with good view and all amenities as listed. It was nice to sit on the deck in the morning and listen to the bird sounds. Could have been a bit cleaner though ,(some of the dishes in the kitchen were quite greasy and there were makeup stains and hair on the duvet cover) but it is obviously a well loved cottage!
The hosts made sure we were kept informed. Nothing was left out. The accomodation was clean, quiet with a wonderful view of the ocean. There were plenty of facilities, we were able to prepare a few meals, sit on the deck and enjoy the view.
Spent a week here and was very comfortable in this peaceful location. There are some good walks close to the house and the beach is about 20 minutes walk. A good base to explore the island either by car or bus. Would definitely recommend and be happy to stay here again.
We first arrived and found the property to be immaculate, and even better than the photos shown. The property owners were great to deal with, and very helpful with information for our stay on waiheke. Would highly recommend to others and will wiwildefinately be staying there again
Hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. Every angle was covered by their communications. No guess work involved. Exactly what we needed after our long haul from the East Coast of the States. The amenities were exactly as stated. Just a complete dream of a location. Bed was very comfortable, furniture was as well. The outside seating was our favorite. Quiet and relaxing with a view from the deck that’s unbeatable. We will miss this place and truly hope to come back again soon.
Wonderful stay in this quiet area of Waiheke. Apartment was as described, ideal for two people and well equipped. Good levels of equipment so all very comfortable. Communication with owners was quick and helpful. Would highly recommend.
I could not have been happier with my stay. Great responsiveness from owner to texts. Terrific place in a great location. The view from the house and large deck are superb. Clean, comfortable and charming. Hope to be back!
Very peaceful, clean and great views :) Easy walk to 2 calm beaches. Recommend getting a bus pass or taking own car over however as taxis are very expensive! Overall a very pleasant stay thank you :)
A beautiful house with everything you need. Great views of bush and water and so quiet. A slice of the real Waiheke Island and easily commutable to everything you want to see or do on the island. And as a side note, La Dolce Vita at Ostend has the best Pizza on the Island!
Great stay at your lovely Rocky Bay house. Amazing views, great location for the wedding we attended at the Omiha Bay Hall. Clean house, lovely decor and outdoor seating/deck area. I would recommend this place to anyone. :)
Lovely cosy & comfortable holiday home set high in the trees overlooking the beautiful picturesque bay below. The wildlife right in eyesight, wood pidgeons, crazy tuis and kingfishers. The outdoor lounger was a highlight for sunset drinks. It’s a complete sun trap for afternoon lounging so it was great to open up doors on both sides to let the breeze blow through. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen felt like it was a home away from home. A good level of fitness required if you want to walk everywhere as it is hilly with no footpaths, even down to the local beach as it’s a steep walk up the hill. But if you’re in to walking there’s heaps of local walking tracks and bus a short walk away.

Were not able to stay, but owner is fabulous
Because of a medical issue, we were not able to stay at this property. The owner was very understanding and super nice. Lovely view though!
Old school bach for two people. No glitz or frills but plenty of charm and a lovely deck with beautiful views of the ocean and bush. Good kitchen, decent internet etc but mostly a lovely spot for kicking back. Sensible to have a car. Had a lovely relaxing three day weekend.
What a lovely place. Private property with stunning view. Property was neat and clean. Pillows and couch a bit smelly, but would definitely stay here again if sorted.
We were blown away with this property. The property owners were lovely to deal with, and we had no issues locating this property. The property is set in a magical fauna setting with a gorgeous view of the sea from the kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The views and property itself were even better than we expected from the pictures. Everything we needed was there for us, and the property was very well laid out. We especially loved the friendly Tui!
We would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Great house for a weekend away or extended stay! All the facilities you would want! The deck has a great view across to Auckland and the outdoor furniture would be ideal as it comes into summer! Thanks!

Excellent views out the deck and on a nice quiet street.
Excellent views out the deck and on a nice quiet street. Clean and tidy upon arrival with everything needed to enjoy a long weekend (clean sheets, beach towels, milk, etc.). The bach was fully stocked with all the basics (it's amazing how many properties don't have a sponge to wash dishes but this one did!). We will definitely be back and recommend this property to our friends.
