Hazels lodge was the perfect spot for our large family group in waimauku for a wedding. The house was well provisioned and really comfortable. There is plenty of room for parking and the outdoor sitting area was fantastic, complete with BBQ. We all had a great time and commented to each other how peaceful and perfect it was. Thank you Hazel, we highly recommended your lodge.

Thank you for your review. Your feedback is helpful to us. We endeavour to ensure that our guests are able to be comfortable with adequate provisions.
Great to hear you enjoyed the outdoor entertainment area, and the rural setting.
It was a pleasure to have you all stay at our lodge.
You were awesome guests.
A great little spot to relive the glory days of our old back yard. Minutes from all our favourite activities in the area(some sadly closed now) and had fun introducing the kids to a real surf beach! Hazel was very clear in her communication and the kids just adored the friendly lady in the caravan, who looks after the place. Id like to complain about the weather though
Stayed here for a family wedding at the hunting lodge. Great location and close to venue and shops/cafes. Shower was a bit mouldy but apart from that the place was great. Would stay there again.

Sorry to hear that you felt that the shower was mouldy.
The silicone sealer tends to develop ingrained mould that will not scrub off.
Maybe the sealer could be ripped out and replaced. Will check it out.
Otherwise glad you enjoyed your stay enough to consider staying again. We do try to present a home that is a comfortable, pleasant place to stay.
Lovely family stay. Room enough for grandparents, parents and two children π
Despite the wet weather, it was warm, dry and clean so everyone was very comfortable.
Lovely quiet spot with a nice vista and sunset views.
House was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had all the stuff you might need .
The owner was very friendly in the comms and accommodating of any request.
The property had all the amenities needed. Our host was quick to bring the BBQ out of storage when we contacted her.
We had a very comfortable couple of days there.
Great check in instructions and a lovely hand written welcome note!
