The Putaki Bay Villas are 2 designer houses built with relaxed family holidays (or a group of friends) in mind. With stunning views over fields and a vineyard, and access to the private Putaki Bay beach, this is the perfect spot to rest and relax after a busy day exploring the island!

The villas are architect-designed with top-end fixtures and fittings. Relaxed but stylish living is the plan! Entry is into a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. Separated from this is a second living/media room, with a sofa bed and a TV with Netflix, so there is room for different groups to enjoy their own space. The kitchen is very well equipped with high-end appliances including a Nespresso machine, and has a walk in pantry. Both living areas, as well as the front 2 bedrooms, open onto a spacious deck, with a large outdoor dining table, as well as lovely, comfy outdoor chairs, perfect for relaxing with a glass of superb Waiheke Island wine! The house faces north-east so gets great sun all day long.

To one side of the living room is the master bedroom, with a king size bed, a walk in wardrobe, a TV and ensuite. Off the second living area are the 2 further bedrooms, the family bathroom and laundry area.

Ideally located, Putaki Bay Villas are on a beautiful estate, close to the Kennedy Point vehicle ferry, and a 5 minute drive from Oneroa Village, with its restaurants, cafes and shops. It is also very close to both Goldie and Kennedy Point wineries. You can wander down through the property to Putaki Bay beach, which is tidal but a great swimming spot for 2 hours each side of high tide, and a great fishing and boat launching spot. A 5 minute drive away are the other famous Waiheke beaches, as well as a golf course, wineries and cafes.

We have now been twice to this property and find it a great place to stay with children and our dog too. Check in very easy and overall user friendly. Our only complaint (minor) was no dish washing liquid and a dirty scrubbing brush which would have been rectified had we insisted. But definitely would return
