Surrounded by native birdlife and frequent kangaroo sightings, it's an idyllic base for exploring the South West.



The Space:

Blending contemporary comfort with the tranquillity of its bushland setting, Meelup Mia is designed for guests to slow down, reconnect and embrace the outdoors. Bright, open-plan interiors are enhanced by soaring vaulted ceilings, warm timber accents and leafy outlooks, creating an inviting atmosphere throughout the home. The main living area features comfortable seating, a Smart TV and reverse-cycle air conditioning, while the wood-burning fireplace creates a cosy setting for cooler evenings.



The fully equipped kitchen makes meals easy, featuring quality appliances, generous bench space and everything needed to prepare anything from leisurely breakfasts to shared family dinners. The adjoining dining and living areas flow seamlessly onto the covered deck, where an outdoor lounge and BBQ invite sunset drinks surrounded by native bushland.



Beyond the deck, the expansive backyard offers plenty of space for children to play, complete with a picnic table and cubby house, while kangaroos are frequent visitors among the surrounding trees. With direct access to Meelup Regional Park, walking and cycling trails begin just beyond the backyard, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area from your doorstep.



Sleeping up to eight guests, the home offers four thoughtfully appointed bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private ensuite, while two additional bedrooms each include a queen bed. The fourth bedroom provides a flexible retreat with two single beds and its own private lounge area, making it ideal for children, teenagers or guests seeking extra space to relax. A spacious family bathroom services the remaining bedrooms, while a dedicated laundry adds convenience for longer stays. Garage parking is available onsite.

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire home to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Spend your days discovering the calm, turquoise waters of Meelup Beach, Eagle Bay and Castle Rock, all less than five minutes away, or explore the network of walking and cycling trails that wind through native bushland and along the spectacular coastline. Beyond the beaches, you'll find some of the South West's most celebrated food and wine experiences within easy reach. Enjoy long lunches overlooking Geographe Bay at Wise Wine, sample local produce at Eagle Bay Olives, or settle in for a relaxed afternoon of craft beer and woodfired pizzas at Eagle Bay Brewing Co. Dunsborough's vibrant town centre is just a 10-minute drive away, offering boutique shopping, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. Venture a little further to discover iconic attractions including Sugarloaf Rock, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and the world-renowned wineries, breweries and gourmet producers that make the Margaret River Region one of Australia's premier holiday destinations.

Quiet Hours & Noise Complaints:

Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm in line with local regulations.

We kindly ask all guests to respect the property and surrounding neighbours during their stay. Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the forfeit of your bond and/or possible immediate eviction from the property.



School Leavers:

We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.



Rental Agreement

As part of our standard process, all guests are required to complete a rental agreement prior to arrival. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.



Firewood

A small supply of firewood is provided for the indoor fireplace during the winter months (June–August). Additional firewood can be purchased from local fuel stations and hardware stores.

The property is a stunning rural property. One point to consider is the house is an upside down house with the kitchen etc upstairs.
