About the host
Hosted by Teresa Reeve
We are a group of friends from Ottawa who fell in love with this little patch of land. From the sparkling lake to the rolling hills and charming small towns, there’s something here that captures the heart. We’re thrilled to be able to have others fall in love with it too.
Why they chose this property
The Cranberry and Dog Lake Community is a place where neighbours wave from their boats and docks and stop in for coffee. You can take a leisurely drive to Seeley’s Bay, Inverary or Battersea for breakfast, groceries or supplies, or a day trip to Kingston for dining, shops, and historic charm.
What makes this property unique
1287 Ridge Lane isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to exhale. The cottage sits right on the waterfront with an unobstructed view of the lake from sunrise to sunset.
You can relax on either the docks or just jump in for a swim, a paddle, or float and watch the world slow down.
What truly sets it apart is the sense of seclusion without isolation. You’re tucked away in nature, surrounded by whispering trees, calm waters, swans, ducks and deer.
Guests often say it feels like “the cottage from their memories, only better”—a perfect mix of nostalgia and comfort. Whether it’s roasting marshmallows and sipping wine by the fire, or watching kids leap off the dock, this place turns ordinary moments into lasting memories.
