About this property
Delamore Cove by Stay Waiheke
Summary:
Tucked above Oneroa yet moments from its beaches and cafés, Delamore Cove is a peaceful cluster of studios and suites made for travelling together, close, but never crowded.
The Space:
Set high above Oneroa within the private Delamore Cove Estate, this collection of four self-contained apartments offers a rare balance of space, privacy, and connection. Surrounded by native bush and sea views that reach across the bay to Motuihe Island, it’s a calm, sunlit setting made for travelling together, close, but never crowded.
Each apartment has been individually designed, creating distinct spaces that flow naturally as one. Three of the units, Kauri, Kōwhai, and Mānuka include well-equipped kitchenettes, ideal for simple meals or extended stays. The fourth, Kāraka Studio, offers tea and coffee facilities, a microwave, toaster, and bar fridge for light breakfasts or late-night snacks.
All apartments feature comfortable queen beds, modern ensuites, and living areas that open to the air and light. Kōwhai Apartment also includes a second bedroom with a bunk bed (queen below, single above), making it a natural choice for families or small groups. Every space includes Wi-Fi, Netflix, and flat-screen TVs, with thoughtful touches that make settling in effortless.
Each apartment opens to outdoor space with either a private balcony, porch, or BBQ area, and all guests have access to the shared gardens and walkways within the estate. It’s easy to find your own quiet corner or come together at the end of the day, watching the light shift across the water.
The Kāraka Studio shares an entrance foyer with the main residence; all other apartments have private entrances. On-site parking is available just steps from each door.
Together, these four apartments create a generous, flexible retreat just perfect for groups of up to 11 guests travelling together, offering both privacy and shared time in one of Waiheke’s most peaceful settings.

The property sits right on the Te Ara Hura trail, so walks begin from your doorstep, walk north to the headlands and sculpture park, or south toward Blackpool Beach and the village.
Oneroa Beach is only a short walk or drive away for swimming and picnics, while nearby Little Oneroa offers calm water and a family-friendly spot for fish and chips under the pōhutukawa trees.
Evenings are easy here, dinner in the village, a glass of local wine, and the short drive or walk back up the hill to the quiet of Delamore Cove.
