The space
A bright, modern home with warm, happy energy and authentic Japanese touches. Nestled in a forest, yet walking distance to town—best of both worlds
We welcome respectful, nature-loving couples and families who appreciate the peace, beauty, and a good wine—not wild parties. Eco-conscious guests especially appreciated.
TODDY'S TIPS
Wineries
I love going to restaurants that have great food, great wine and great views. My faves are Amelia Park, Vasse Felix, Leeuwin Estate, Wills Domain (heading up Yallingup end) and The Berry Farm (Serious Fruit and Berry wines etc out towards Rosa Glenn)
Restaurants in town and the Beach that I like
Elliot's Steakhouse, Desendent, El Toro, Teddi's Big Spoon, Sea Gardens, White Elephant (but very busy at times), Green Room & Burger Baby & Normal Van -all for burgers. Pizzica for Pizzas.
Cool Bars in town
Rhum Burgundy, Pearl's Bar, Ginerversity, Brewhouse
Great Coffee
MARGS
Drift Cafe, Blue Ginger, Cafe, Hairy Marron Cafe, Yahava,
WITCHCLIFFE
Yardbyrd and Darnells (AMAZING MUST SEE HERITAGE BUILDING RENOVATED WITH LOVE)-Great Coffee, wine, bar and food.
Trips
These should take a full day , in either direction ie South of Margs and North of Margs, 1 day each.
Margs South
Redgate Beach, through Borranup Forrest, do one of the caves (I love Lake but they are all exceptional) Hamelin Bay for the Rays, Augusta(great view from the pub), fish and chips at the Colourpatch, drop into Darnel's in Witchliffe and wineries anywhere you like.
Margs North
Carters road up to Gracetown. Grab a coffee and great snacks. Up caves rd, duck into the Chocolate factory, pick a winery for lunch(Amelia Park or Vasse or Wills Domain), try a gallery(great one at the Yallingup Maze ), check out Sugarloaf Rock, the drive into Yallingup, head to the Beer Farm for a Beer, loop back to Margs.
Guest access
Complete access to the house and property.
Other things to note
This literally is one of , if not, THE BEST, river locations on the whole stretch of the Margaret River.
Check out our reviews to hear it from plenty of our STOKED guests.
We really look forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you .
