About this property
Minutes from Butchart Gardens on a secluded 5 acre estate.
Welcome to the Hideaway. A detached 1 bedroom 1 bathroom carriage house nestled among the fir and maple trees on a private 5 acre farm just minutes away from Butchart Gardens.
The space
The unit is on the lower corner of our property and offers privacy and seclusion. The carriage house is set a fair distance from all public streets and thus is very quiet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils, cookware, basic spices and condiments required to prepare home cooked meals. On the ground level there is a laundry room which includes a full sized Maytag washer and dryer duo. There is additional storage space if you need to store items for a longer stay.
There is a 4K smart TV in the unit and we have a full selection of cable TV channels including HBO and all the streaming services. There is high speed wifi (over 500 mbps) in the unit making it ideal for remote work.
The property is ideal for travelling professionals who require a longer stay with or without a furry companion. Access to our private fenced 2 acre forest with walking paths can be arranged. (we have dogs on the property who can access the forest from our yard)
We are a 5 minute drive from Butchart gardens and the village of Brentwood Bay where you will find a Pharmasave and a Fairway grocery store.
Within a 15-minute drive you can visit:
• Panorama Recreation Centre
• Saanich Peninsula Hospital
• Island View Beach
• Elk and Beaver Lake Regional Park (10-km trail)
• Victoria International Airport
Within a 20-minute drive:
• Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
• Downtown Victoria
• Victoria General Hospital
Check in is set to 5pm due to the cleaning schedule. Earlier check in may be possible, please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to try and make it work.
