Everything was Perfect!
This was our first time doing a full month rental for vacation. The moment I entered this property I knew I had to come back next year! We immediately booked it for an even longer stay in 2027. Everything about it was exceptional but especially our host Kelly. She bent over backwards to make our stay as relaxing and rewarding as possible. Typically I can't enjoy visits away from home for any length of time because the beds always make my back hurt, like really bad! These beds are heavenly and even our guests remarked on how comfortable they were. We opted to have the pool heated and it was a very comfortable temp and the Hot Tub was also fantastic. The kitchen is well appointed, the appliances are high end, the room fans were effective but quiet and the mood lighting options were just really, really nice. We never once changed the thermostat settings in the house, it was always so comfortable. Kelly was very responsive in helping us get our personal streaming accounts active on the TV's. We especially enjoyed the one on the lanai each morning with our coffee to catch up on the news. The location right on the canal was entertaining to watch with fish that jump high out of the water and a dolphin pod that stayed a while and fed on fish near the dock. At night the homes across the water have lovely lighting on their palms making for a very pleasant night time view. The proximity to convenient shopping and dining is great and our trips to and from the RSW airport to retrieve other guests were quick and uneventful and less than an hour round trip. Traffic in the Cape Coral area was very manageable unlike the Naples area where our friends rented. There are two restaurants we frequented often that were right next to each other, "Stones Throw", an upscale bar with a great happy hour selection of apps and cocktails from 4-6 and it's more casual family friendly sister property next door called "Two Meatballs in the Kitchen" whose happy hour is 11am to 6pm (and no that is not a typo)! Twice we attended "Drag Queen Karaoke Brunch" on Saturdays in Fort Meyers at the "Standard" It was a hoot. "Deep Lagoon" was also one of our favorite spots for seafood, as well as "The Twisted Lobster" . This property is everything you could want for comfort, value and convenience and we can't wait to go back next year. Thank you Kelly for making this such an enjoyable stay.
