We had a great weekend getaway! Only a couple of things put a damper on things (literally). We arrived on Friday night, and the rain began Saturday morning. My husband and boys still fished and caught a few bluegill under the covered part of the dock. We also took advantage of the hot tub! It was very clean and relaxing. The board games and Ms. Pacman stored downstairs were a hit, and we enjoyed the family time together. The view from the living room is amazing!Sadly, I am highly allergic to shedding dogs. The irony here is that I have to rent a dog friendly property to bring our 12 lb non-shedding toy poodle. I was sneezing all weekend, so that wasn't fun. As clean as the house was, you can definitely tell that dogs are there regularly. This is a perk to all dog lovers (they have a crate downstairs and dog bowls under the cabinets), but for me, this only added to the allergens present in the house.
