We enjoyed our stay at Kalifornsky. Nice open area overlooking Cook’s inlet and the beach in walking distance. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Randy and Juanita were diligent in all our needs. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Due to the remote area of this property. Although it is not VRBO policy you need to allow visitors to contact the owner by cellphone prior to checking in.
This trip was for husband and friends. They had a great time and caught lots of fish. The fish processing room was a bonus.
Looking forward to a return visit.
Great location close to fishing with superior fish processing facilities. Lots of room.

Enjoyed visiting and having George's group stay with us. They were very respectful to the cabin and property and would love to have them come back again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the large house. There was plenty of room and accomodations for three couples. Randy and Juanita were always available and very attentive. The view of the mountains across Cook Inlet was spectacular. All of our group look forward to another stay at the Sunset Cabins.
We moved to Anchorage from Idaho in 1976, and started spending summers in the Kenai soon after. We bought this property eight years later - starting with 3 small fishing cabins, and we've built 6 more since. We built the 'Alaska' cabin, our largest, in 2006. We stay busy with the cabins and fishing during the summers, and enjoy the quiet winters in between.
Why they chose this property
Nearly all the lumber for the cabins came from the trees on the land where the cabins are today! Our location is conveniently close to commercial and recreational fishing opportunities, and miles of quiet beachfront along Cook Inlet. Our private, quiet property is on the Kasilof coast is centrally located on the Kenai - we are 1 hour from Homer, 2 hours from Seward, and 3 hours from Anchorage.
What makes this property unique
For those fishing during their stay on the Kenai, we have a fish processing facility on the property with freezers. If you stay at one of our cabins, you may clean and store your catch at no additional cost! You only need to provide your own packaging materials.
