Lovely Home with Amazing Views
My friends and I spent NYE here and had a terrific time. The property has 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and two shower heads. Downstairs are two bedrooms that are back to back. One of the rooms has a queen and the other two full-size beds. These rooms share a jack and Jill bathroom. The last room is in a little house removed from the main house. We had a couple corgis that stayed with us, so this was helpful when they were feeling yappy.
The fireplace in the living room was wonderful and they provide plenty of firewood.
Things to note for future guests:
They only provide 8 towels so I recommend bringing your own towel for the hot tub.
The kitchen could use some more supplies. If you have something in particular you know you’ll need, it may be wise to bring it yourself. The coffee machine was temperamental but we figured it out. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels just to be safe.
Hot tub was in an enclosed space which was great in the winter time.
The property is near the Big Schloss trail, which I highly recommend if you want to take advantage of the surrounding mountains.
The previous tenants left a water issue in the downstairs and we had to call the property manager to let them know about it. She was on top of it and it didn’t interfere too much with our weekend.
Lastly, thank you to the homeowners for a lovely weekend. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time in their lovely home.
