When you enter this recently renovated, fully furnished, 15th floor 1-bedroom apartment in Marbella Oeste, you are WOWED by the stunning 180° view from the balcony of beautiful Isla Verde Beach, the best beach in all of San Juan. The open kitchen design affords a communal ambiance while encompassing lots of work and cabinet space for those wishing to cook. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, small electrics (microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, etc.), a dishwasher, as well as a full-sized stove and refrigerator. The bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed. The bathroom has a tub with shower, towels and a hair dryer. The washer/dryer in the hall along with laundry detergent provides easy maintenance of beach and bath towels. The flat screen TV in the living room is connected to a DVR/cable box and Firestick. High speed wireless enables the use of tablets, laptops and cellphones for work or play. A notebook with the condominium rules, information about the apartment and area, and instructions for operating the dishwasher and A/C is provided. Renters are welcome to add comments.

Air-conditioning and ceiling fans, high speed WiFi, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, living/dining room with oceanfront balcony, comfortable king-sized bed, flat screen TVs with cable and Firestick, rattan furnishings and ceramic tile floors offer all the comforts of home in a tranquil, tropical setting. Sheets, bath and beach towels, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and plasticware are provided along with cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and starter paper towels and toilet paper. In addition, there is 24-hour security and a free assigned parking space.

The pool area has lounge and sit-up chairs. Rental of lounge chairs and umbrellas are available on the beach. There is an assigned parking space in the basement garage. Uber, taxis and buses are readily available.

Located in the heart of the Isla Verde tourist area, we are surrounded by restaurants, shopping and the fabulous El San Juan Hotel and Casino, as well Royal Sonesta Hotel, and the Embassy Suites, which also has a casino. Water sports, including jet skis, banana boats and parasailing, etc. are available east on our beach in front of ESJ Towers. In addition, we are about 5 minutes from San Juan's International Airport: Luis Munos Marin Airport and only 15 minutes away from Condado and 20 minutes from Old San Juan. Out on the island are numerous places to enjoy breathtaking scenery, a plethora of beautiful beaches, historic sites, arts and concerts along with various activities such as world-class golf, scuba diving, horseback riding, boating, zip-lining, and much more.

Great location, nice unit and well equipped. The HVAC system is noisy. It makes a big noise when it starts and a bigger noise when it stops. The shower has great water pressure, but with the high flow shower head a 4 or 5 minute shower is all that is possible with hot water. I believe it is actually a two bedroom condo but what appears to be the master is locked off. The light was on in that room and with about a 3/4” gap at the top of door it was a little eerie at night, it does act as a night light though.

Property was very conveniently located close to the airport. To wake up to the sunrise over the ocean and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the balcony is an invaluable amenity. We rented a car from enterprise right down the street and the parking inside the condo building was very easy. The communication for check-in was seamless. Nora is a true professional.The beach is beautiful.We were able to both Uber and drive to Old San Juan when we wanted to.We took day trips to Luquillo, Aguadilla, El Yunque, Fajardo and La Cueva Ventana and La Cueva del Indio.We highly recommend staying here.

We are here for the view !

Everything as just as pictured . Nora was easy to communicate with and we were able to get into the condo early. The view was spectacular! Nice pool and beach , with great pool towels . Close to airport and Walgreens across the street was great ! So nice to have the washer and dryer and all appliances working great . No problems at all , took uber everywhere. Felt safe .

Wonderful Isla Verde Escape

Beautiful apartment with all the amenities. Amazing views. Just as described. Wished we could have stayed longer! Nora was very responsive even when we were a bit confused by a light she left on in her personal side of the apartment which worried us a bit until she clarified what it was. Only complaint was not being able to extend checkout past 11 AM even when offering to pay more. Would definitely book again and schedule an earlier departure. Thanks for a great overall stay.

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend for a great location, beautiful and comfortable apartment, plus kind and helpful host. The apartment was very clean, with a comfy king bed and everything we could need. The balcony view doesn't get better than this! Well kept grounds and building with affordable chair/umbrella rental right outside the gate. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and we saw it being cleaned multiple times. The host gave us great suggestions and even provided for late checkout which saved the day for us. I would definately stay here again. We enjoyed walking at night and enjoying multiple restaurants in the area. We rented a car for one day (many nearby options for doing this) and the free underground parking with assigned space was great. Loved loved staying here. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful oceanfront condo with nice amenities and great location

This unit is very well maintained and has great beach and ocean views. The property manager goes above expectations in communicating detailed instructions and providing essentials. Check the unit before you buy anything but food because chances are it's already stocked. We were there during La noche de San Juan and it was perfect. Crowds out on the beach were fun and engaging. It was quite the party into early morning. The unit is in a great location near the airport and plenty of restaurants, shopping and a casino (if that's your thing). We found it to be a good home base for visiting Old San Juan, El Yunque rainforest and Palmas del Mar is within an hour drive. Also close by is Piñones and Loiza which is rich in local culture and cuisine. You will be pleased with this place!

A gem in the heart of Isla Verde

The pictures online are a good representation of the condo but this place offers so much more.Bed, couch, chairs and even the patio chairs are very comfortable. All amenities are of quality and you will not need anything else. We took a trip to Walgreens across the street (open 24/7) to buy a case of water (24 pack 16oz at 4.99) and some snacks - this is a super Walgreens with a variety of food/snacks, frozen meals, drinks, beers liquor, etc and prices are reasonable (spf100 spray sun block for 12). There are 2-3 restaurants across the street from the property which are also open 24/7 for all meals or beverages. This condo has an amazing view.and easy access to the beach. There are 4 elevatorw that are readily available and quick. The building was quiet during our stay this past 5 days. If you want a place to chill, relax, and soak in some fun/sun, this is the place.

Last minute getaway

This was a last-minute trip. The host was very timely and getting back to questions, the pictures are ideal of what to expect. There is a washer dryer. You don’t have to take any clothes home dirty. We felt very safe directly on the beach key to get key to get out security guard at the door. The host left two chairs and a cooler for the beach however we rented at umbrella and a lounger umbrellas are 10 and chairs are five dollars and there is a cooler. Everything was perfect beautiful weather,They help us with making sure the Uber driver knew where to pick us up and we use Uber for five days and four nights under 100.. the casino and eating places are all in walking distance. Breakfast is my favorite meal to cook so I took my bacon and sausage with me. We just bought water and eggs from the Walgreens right across the street. The elevators were fine. The pool is gorgeous and clean. we had an awesome time. I would recommend this beachie condo. Oh, on our last night there were fireworks so we were able to view them from our balcony.

I've stayed in several units at this property over the last 10 yrs. The location is great and just works for me. This particular unit was clean and decorated nicely. It's just not as updated as other units in the complex. I did have 3 issues with my stay: 1.Smaller than other one bedrooms I've stayed in at the same complex.2. The king bed advertised was actually 2 twins put together with king bedding holding them together. Left a crack down the middle of the bed to seep into.3. There is a note in the condo of an additional 150 charge if you don't do certain things upon departure. That should all be disclosed up front and not after I've already checked in. Other than that the stay was enjoyable and they also did accommodate a noon check in for me as we flew all night from California. So that was nice and appreciated.

Sorry you weren’t happy with my apartment. You say it was decorated nicely but not updated. Not sure what you mean by not updated. If you are referring to the rattan furniture that is to prevent termites. Regarding the bed, some guests require two separate beds while others want one king. As for the $150 charge for not leaving the apartment in decent condition, you were notified in both the rental agreement sent by VRBO, as well as in the welcome email sent by me, both of which you received prior to your check-in. As noted I do not charge for exit cleaning, however, an additional cleaning person would be required to tend to the extra work needed.

I previously owned 6 apartments in condominium Marbella del Caribe for over 33 years, but sold 5 of them and "retired." I am now back into the renting. I have enjoyed a reputation for the best apartments and many of my previous renters have begged me to start up again because they liked my apartments so much and cannot find anything comparable. I travel to Puerto Rico several times a year so that I can make sure everything is in excellent condition and is fully equipped.

Why they chose this property

I've been going to Puerto Rico since 1968. I've stayed in many condos and hotels along the Isla Verde and Condado Tourist areas. I find Condominium Marbella del Caribe to be the best, by far. In fact, I've owned an apartment in another condo/hotel, but sold it because the Marbella del Caribe condominium has the best beachfront, the complex is kept in great condition, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

What makes this property unique

1. A quick flight from mainland U.S.
2. Part of the U.S. so no worries about foreign government, currency, etc. and no passport needed from the U.S.
3. Beautiful weather year-round. Average temp is 87 in the summer and 82 in the winter.
4. A clean and comfortable apartment that is well kept and updated often.
5. Isla Verde Beach is the most beautiful beach in San Juan and it is right out the back door. In addition, this location offers something for everyone...whether it be a quite vacation, one with exciting night life, or one that offers wonderful tourists attractions, this condo is for you.
