We have stayed in many villas in the same area over the last 14 years. Although we enjoyed our stay we have a few points that we would have expected to be provided or at least informed of. On arrival there was nothing at all provided in kitchen, not even salt or pepper. there were no cleaning materials eg sprays or cloths there were no utensils to use for the bbq. we could not get the tv to work, all in German we did have a good holiday but was much more expensive than previous stays that had far superior facilities. Over priced in our opinion as we paid 1200 euros more this year for less

Villa Monte de Torre

The hosts were very friendly and responsive and allowed us early check in when our flights were changed which was very much appreciated. Lovely house and pool area and very clean but a little tired looking in places. Would benefit from a few cupboard basics for those first few days ie dishwasher tabs, bin bags, salt and pepper, cooking oil. Great location for shopping, beaches and algarve attractions.

Location great, pool great. View great, Villa clean inside no welcome package very dated needs uplifting, beds uncomfortable, shower drain needs looking at keeps flooding while having showers, hot Water hit and miss, pool table needs replacing, not enough sunbeds for 8, all furniture and TV are old, I would rate this villa at 5/10.

Mooi groot zwembad, prachtig uitzicht, gunstig tov Almancil en strand met auto. Mooi terras, maar geen schaduw plek. Binnen is alles een beetje gedateerd. Glazen, pannen en keuken niet schoon. Storende brom van klok oven en koelkast. Kwaliteit geluid van TV is heel slecht, bijna onverstaanbaar.

Nice Villa

We had a nice holiday here, the villa is a good size with an excellent swimming pool, Mr John the property manager couldn’t have been more helpful , a really nice guy. Only downside was some of the aircon units Are old and don’t work very well, we did mention this and one downstairs was replaced but it took a week, however these are difficult times so we appreciate things don’t run normally. Overall would recommend.

Schöne Anlage supper Pool und vile Platz. Das eine oder andere könnte bei Gelegenheit ersetzt werden. Schlüsselübergabe (wurde deponiert) hat nur telefonisch stattgefunden.

Świetny dom wakacyjny

Wspaniałe wakacje w przestronnej rezydencji, zaskoczeniem były komary (mnóstwo!!) i brak siatek na oknach. Adresu podanego w dokumentach nie można było namierzyć na mapie w telefonie.

We are sorry to hear of the confusion faced on arrival. Our local team checked the address in the documents and can confirm it is correct. We must however apologise for the situation you faced in regards to mosquitoes. Unfortunately the location of the house in such a rural area means it can be much more prone to this problem, which is particularly highlighted this summer season due to the extremely hot and dry climate. Nevertheless our local team have been informed in order to try to prevent this.
