Sunny, art filled, new single family on Munjoy Hill. This home has been totally renovated with it’s sunny new kitchen, lovely dining room , separate tv area , and elegant yet comfortable living room. The bedrooms are upstairs with two full baths. Step outside the kitchen to a private backyard. And your own driveway, a real plus in the east end.
Turn right out the front door and you see Casco Bay, the eastern prom with tennis courts and miles of trails. Three blocks take you to the trendy restaurants (front room and the Blu Spoon) as well as Rosemont Market, st Lawrence Arts and Hilltop Superette. Walk down Walnut St to Washington Ave with its amazing restaurants and breweries. There is so much to access from this location. And it is a 15 minute walk to Whole Foods . Before I accept reservation , I like to know something about the guests and your visit to Maine.

We really enjoyed staying here!! Perks include the outdoor space, updated bathrooms, dedicated parking, charming neighborhood, and proximity to the promenade.
We have stayed at this house for two weeks, two years in a row. We were very impressed with everything about the house when we first stayed there. It was so bright, clean, very well equipped, and everything seemed brand new. So, we returned the following year. What really impressed us this second year was how everything was just as perfect this second time around. Although the owners live in the house during the winter, and certainly have many other guests, the home looked totally untouched, and just as new and pristine the following year. Very impressive!
This is the second year we have been at this wonderful spot, and the return visit was as enjoyable as the first. We love the size of the home, all it has to offer, and the location in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood. A perfect place for quiet, but also for enjoying al that Portland has to offer.
Totally enjoyed our stay at this totally renovated home on Munjoy Hill in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood. Long driveway for off-street parking for more than 1 car. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely bathrooms, and an upstairs washer & dryer. There's a nice outdoor seating area behind the house with a fire pit and grill. Great location, walking distance to the Eastern Prom (try the food trucks for lunch) and several restaurants and markets on Congress St., and a quick drive to the rest of Portland. While we were there, we hosted an overnight for friends from Boston and later some family members in town for a camp pick-up. In between we had delicious meals in town, day trips to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (go see the trolls!), Kennebunkport, and Sebago Lake. Highly recommend!
We loved staying for 13 days at this house in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood. Both the home and the location were perfect. The house was immaculately clean, very bright, well designed, complete with modern appliances, and fully equipped with everything we could ever need. The house is located just one and half blocks from the beautiful Eastern Promenade, which can be seen right down the street. We took full advantage of the location by frequently walking the promenade overlooking the bay, or just sitting on a bench reading. The owner was also very pleasant and accessible by phone if ever needed. We hope to return to this very property next year.
We didn’t want to leave! Truly a home away from home. It’s in the perfect Portland spot. You can walk everywhere even to Peaks Island (via ferry of course). Beds were oh so comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Owner was incredibly kind and quick to respond. We’ll be back!
We were drawn to this property because of its location in Portland, and we were looking forward to a relaxing and restful time, while taking advantage of all that Portland has to offer. This was the ideal place -- a great neighborhood, lots of privacy, and a well appointed home. For foodies like ourselves, the big kitchen coupled with the food shopping and restaurant scene of Portland was a match made in heaven! Not surprisingly, we were sad to leave. A great experience.

I'm Canadian born and raised on Prince Edward Island . We have a home there and return every summer. Our children were born in Canada but live in Portland and Rhode Island now.
Why they chose this property
Munjoy Hill is a wonderful neighborhood. We are only a block from Casco Bay and within walking distance of everything - downtown, the funky Washington Ave Area and the ferries to the islands in Casco Bay. Portland is a foody city and most are in walking distance.
What makes this property unique
We are probably one of the only, if not the only, single family home on VRBO on Munjoy Hill. We have a private patio and a big driveway.
