Perfect tiny house for a relaxing weekend! Everything was as stated, easy checking, and the resort is perfect for families, couples or a girl’s weekend get away!
I’ve this little haven, quiet tucked away. Second time staying here. Thin on housewares and bedding could be refreshed overall we enjoyed our stay and probable to return
This cabin was perfect for my fishing trip. Very clean and close to boat ramp. You can’t go wrong staying here if you like being away from crowds and enjoying peace and quiet after a long day on the water.
We spent a weekend here to go eagle watching at local state parks. The small cottage was comfortable and private, and we spotted plenty of wildlife, including a juvenile eagle, ducks, and coots near the water where the lakeside RVs are. Will come back!

Cabin 5
We were here for my birthday weekend! The experience was ok overall. We had a hiccup during checkin, but they fixed it right away. The basic necessities and amenities in the cabin could be better. All of the pillows were totally flat. Not enough toilet paper, no soap but hand soap. If you plan to cook, better bring your own paper plates and cups.
The ONLY thing I would like to see changed are the mattresses. They are extremely firm. Other then that nothing needs to be improved. The communication with the company is fantastic. The little house was made for wonderful family time. If you like walking in nature, this is a place for you. Sitting around the fire pit at night is perfect. They have golf carts and bikes to rent. I will definitely visit there again.
There is a reason visitors have given this property 5 stars -- it's deserving of all of them! The cabins are HGTV adorable. Clean and offering all the amenities you would need (except Wi-Fi which was fine with me). The owners are building a well-thought-out resort. The trails are easy and cleared for groups to walk. The pier, though a bit away from the cabins (walking), is so cool. We just sat out there watching the water, birds, and boats go by. It's a 5 minute drive to the state park, horseback riding, and a boat ramp. I loved my solitary stay there (I stayed in the off-season) but would be just happy to go again with friends and family and reserve a few cabins. You cannot go wrong here. It's beautiful! And the owners are lovely. Very helpful!

Me, my husband, my 8 week old, and my two dogs went on this trip. It was the perfect little get away from normal day to day. Quaint cabin had everything we needed for a short three day trip. Dogs had plenty of space to enjoy their walks. We will definitely be back!
Just as pictured. Beautiful, quiet and remote. Several other duplicate cabins all within 25 yards of each other, in a coldesack nestled in the woods, about a 1/2 mile walk from the waters edge. All the basic amenities in a modern, cozy, quant little cabin. We will definitely be returning.
We live close to Guntersville but wanted a close get away near the State Park! River Ridge Retreat did not disappoint! We found a ton of beautiful land right there to run in addition to the park! Will be back!!!
Great accommodations! The cabins are new and the property is very interesting. This is a great property for golf carts and bicycling, the playground is perfect, and the hiking trail was a great way to get some exercise in the shade. Interesting property. As noted in description, cabins are not on the water.
We were able to do all of the things we planned. Hiking, looking for waterfalls, and relaxing.
