Highly recommend if you want to in town while at Black Mountain.
Great house, very clean and fresh. And the house was easily walkable to the Black Mountain downtown area with restaurants and shops.
They accommodate dogs and our pup had as much fun as we did exploring Black Mountain as well as the backyard.
We had a group of 6 for a brief mountain getaway here Black Mountain. This property was very easy to get to. Just as advertised/listing - probably even more impressive in person. Very clean. Newly remodeled/updated. The back porch (screened) would be an awesome warm weather hang-out.
Booked this house bc of the great back yard which is fenced and secure for our dog. Easy walk to town which was awesome. Beautiful walking trails on our street via Montreat College campus.
Be prepared that the TV is a smart TV and you get none of the regular major networks or sports channels. You get Netflix if you have an account.
The main den area is very dark. Only one lamp. I have glaucoma so reading in that room was out of the question. All of my reading was on the screened outside porch.
The bathrooms are tiny which is fine for two people but cannot imagine 4-6 in this house.
Loved Black Mountain!’

Hi Mimi, thanks for your feedback! The Living room/Den has a large window with plantation shutters that let in lots of light during the day; but I understand it’s darker at night. Based on your review we’ve added a couple lamps for nighttime reading. I’m glad you enjoyed the screened porch!
