Beautiful and relaxing hidden jem

A beautiful staying in the Colli Fiorentini. The house is large, comfortable and has everything you need, including a dishwashing machine. The host is super careful and helpful. The place is silent and relaxing.We had an incredible experience at night, walking among the olive trees with fireflies all around. Magic Tuscany!

Beautiful stay in a cute party of Italy but we only really slept there because we were so busy. Very comfortable beds and a big bathroom. The owners were very friendly and helpful- a perfect spot!

Avoid this property — serious maintenance, odor, and moisture problems that were never resolved.We stayed at this property for 63 days and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it. From the first week, we experienced strong sewer-gas odors in both the kitchen and bathroom that never went away. We repeatedly informed the host, but her only solution was pouring baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water down the drains. No plumber was ever called, nor was the gas professionally tested, despite our concerns for safety.The apartment was advertised as “completely renovated,” but this was not our experience. One kitchen cabinet had a severe mildew smell—so strong the host avoided storing anything in it. The entire home felt damp throughout our stay; our clothes wouldn’t dry, the sheets and towels were always moist, and we later realized this may have been caused by a hidden roof leak.Twelve days before checkout, we finally saw water pouring down the bedroom wall during a storm. When we contacted the host, her first response was, “When it rains that hard sometimes that happens,” indicating she already knew about the leak. This was extremely concerning and inconsistent with the listing.The listing also described the apartment as “silent,” yet it sits directly under the airport landing path. Airplanes passed loudly overhead until almost midnight every night.Future guests should be aware of these health, safety, and accuracy concerns before booking.

We are astonished to receive these words from you, especially considering the dirty conditions in which you left the house (food on the floor, ants, stains on beds…). It seems clear to us that you are trying to exaggerate whatever you can in order to get a refund. I think all other previous reviews speak for themselves and show that guests have always been satisfied with our property.

Quiet Retreat Close Florence

Large, well-maintained apartment close to the train station which is just two stops from downtown Florence. This apartment is not easy to find because it an remote country area. But that is part of its charm. It is quiet and the building has beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside--although the upstairs apartment which we occupied did not have a particularly outstanding view. The apartment has all modern amenities although the building itself is rustic. The stone stairs to the apartment are very steep which presented some difficulty for my husband who has bad knees. If we were to rent from the property owners again, we would request one of the downstairs apartments. The owners, Christina and her daughter, Maria Theresa, were very welcoming and could not be more helpful. One night when we missed the last train from Florence, we were somewhat panicked so we called them and they advised us about what to do. Christina also supplied us with a well stocked pantry for our stay which was very much appreciated. Christina also supplied us with restaurant recommendations. One of these, Taglieri and Bicchieri, was so good that we ate there 3 times out of 4 nights. It was, by far, the best food we had in Italy. thank you, Christina, for a wonderful vacation in Florence.

La casa si presenta in ottime condizioni e pulita. È in una posizione tranquilla ma strategica per raggiungere le più note località della zona. Noi per andare a Firenze abbiamo preso il treno nella vicina stazione e in 15 minuti eravamo in centro città. Cristina è una host gentile e premurosa. Se in futuro dovessimo tornare in Toscana, di sicuro verremo qua Alloggio consigliato

Maison spacieuse, au calme, très bien située pour découvrir la région. Vous avez une gare à 5/10 min en voiture, qui assure des trajets vers Florence, Pise..pas de soucis pour le stationnement.. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la Toscane. La gare de Lastra dessert Pise en 45 minutes et Florence en 15 minutes. Tous les principaux sites à visiter (Lucques, Sienne...) sont à 1h du gîte. Christina et son mari nous ont très bien accueilli (merci pour le panier garni).Le gîte est conforme à l'annonce.

Très bien situé dans la montagne. Super accueil avec un panier garni en cadeau très apprécié. Bien accueilli par Cristina qui parle bien français. Des avions passent au dessus de nos têtes mais ils ne nous ont pas dérangé. Tout est fourni, draps serviettes, même les répulsif contre les moustiques (pas mal de moustiques au mois d'août).

Un séjour merveilleux !

Nous voulions découvrir la région de Toscane et nous avons passé une semaine vraiment très agréable : le gîte, au milieu des oliviers, est très spacieux, avec de très grandes chambres aux lits vraiment confortables ; l’accueil est top : Cristina est d’une grande gentillesse et parle fort bien français. La gare de Lastra a Signa n’est pas très loin de la propriété, ce qui nous a permis d’aller en train jusqu’à Florence. Il est possible aussi d’aller en train jusqu’à Pise. Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour et c’est une adresse que nous recommanderons ! Grazie mille, Cristina!

Séjour parfait

Nous avons fait une escale de 3 jours dans ce gite afin de visiter Florence...et nous avons adoré !!! Nous ne voulions pas séjourner en ville et avons fait confiance aux derniers avis avant de choisir celui-ci...et nous n'avons pas regretté! Le gîte est au milieu des oliviers, décoration typique mais pleine de charme avec des chambres spacieuses et des lits confortables. Malgré le passage de quelques avions (on ne peut pas tout avoir non plus), nous avons pu profité de la proximité de la gare pour nous rendre à Florence en 20 minutes et de la situation du gîte pour décompresser le soir. Les 3 jours sont passés vite... Trop vite 😊 Merci encore aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil ( petite corbeille garnie à notre arrivée 😇). Nous n hésiterons pas à revenir si l occasion se présente.
