So Charming!
We loved everything about this cabin! The fireplace is perfect, cute, functional kitchen and comfy couch to sit and just enjoy the fire. Prior to our stay I broke my foot altering our plans. The walkway up to the front door is nicely lit with sensor lights and able to be navigated with crutches. The coziness was perfect for us and I had enough room to use a knee scooter. Shower has nice pressure. Plenty of space heaters and we were toasty. My only complaint is the Queen mattress is showing wear and has the beginning of the "roll to center" happening. We'd live in this cabin if we could! Hoping to return when we can really enjoy it all on both feet!

Nice cabin, close to town
Nice little cabin that’s close to town. The only thing is that it’s within 500 ft of multiple other cabins so there’s no privacy. “Private beach” means beach you have to wonder around to find. There’s no water view from this cabin, or anywhere to sit outside and even have a little fire. The walk up to cabin is steep, so just be aware! They’re no railing, it’s just rocks and tree roots, so sort of unstable. The cabin itself is nice. It’s your typical Maine cabin. There’s a tv with spectrum cable in the living room. A nice kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms. It’s a nice place to stay, for its close proximity to downtown. I just wish it was more private and actually ON the beach like it sounded it was in the listing.

Cozy Primitive Cabin
Picturesque setting. . . not all space heaters working so made fires to keep warm. Comfortable bedding. Adequate kitchen. Lots of firewood and starters.

Not a good experience
This property was not acceptable to us- it did not have updated electrical connections and we were expected to use multi extension cords laying around on the floors. The heat was inadequate and while using space heaters to warm the cabin up up enough … the circuits continued to break. We felt it was somewhat dangerous to have such connections. There was no real pathway up to the cabin. We ended up using the “yard” to get up to the porch because the other approach was very difficult. The cabin need’s upgrading desperately. The bedding and the kitchen were good.

Maine Coastal Cabin
Truly a rustic cabin but very nice. The only heat was space heaters and a fireplace but if you know how to build a fire it’s plenty warm.
