Welcome to the Cozy Log Cabin on Fall River! Our cabin is family-friendly and pet-friendly!! The cabin is open seasonally with availability mid-April through December. The cabin is conveniently located 1 mile east of the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and 2 miles west of downtown Estes Park off of Fall River Road. You will enjoy wildlife viewing with many elk and big horn sheep around the property. This property is steps from the Fall River.

The cabin was constructed in the late 1940's using the logs from the Hidden Valley Ski area. It is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy nature.

The cabin features an open living space with updated furniture and appliances. The 2 bedrooms are located on the main floor. The front bedroom has one (1) set of full over full bunk beds; the primary bedroom on the "river side" of the cabin has a king bed. The loft has two (2) twin beds. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms on the main floor and has a shower (no tub).

The cabin is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with several cabins nearby and homes across the river.

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Rocky Mountain National Park. We loved how close it was to the park. The deck was perfect for relaxing when we were not hiking or enjoying the park. Seeing wildlife (turkey and elk) out of the windows was an added perk!

We had a fabulous stay. The location on the Fall River was very peaceful. The little touches that the hosts provided was much appreciated (the table was set to the number of guests we had staying). Definitely would stay again and highly recommend it to anyone!

We reserved the cabin about a year prior to the stay. Emailed periodically and the host was quick on responses. When we got there just use the code to get in and you are good to go on checking in. The cabin was the best we’ve been in for cleanliness. Everything possible you need for the stay was there. Plenty of kitchen supplies, toiletries, nice kitchen and beds. Would recommend a 10 out of ten for the place to stay. 5 min. From downtown Estes but out of the way with Highway 34 to pass the downtown rush when needed. We have never stayed anywhere twice in the same place. This could be the first. I thank the owners for a great place to stay.

This place was a perfect get away! The location is convenient to town but yet you walk out the back door and hear the rushing river and feel like you are out in the woods. The hosts have provided everything we needed. A blow dryer went out and they had a new one on the front porch within 10 minutes! They were extremely responsive to all of my questions. Within minutes. The bed is comfortable. The house is clean. The back porch and swing by the river cannot be beat! Highly recommend!

This cabin is one of the most inviting and enjoyable places we have stayed in a very long time. It was inviting and warm with beautiful furnishings and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The river frontage is wonderful and we had two bull elk in the yard.

The cabin is very cosy we really enjoyed staying here, waking up and drinking coffee by the river was just wonderful. The cabin worked really well for our family with young kids. Close to RMNP and Estes Park the location was great.

We have stayed in lots of VRBO homes over the years, and all have been satisfactory and many more have been excellent. But as hosts, Bob and Carole exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself is a perfect open concept floor plan sitting only yards from the bank of Fall River. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding, and the outdoor deck overlooking the river provided a very comfortable and serene area to enjoy the river throughout most of the day. Not only did the cabin provide ample space for four adults, the hosts maximized the square footage with additional seating to accommodate several adults and additional sleeping in the loft. Everything you could want from small appliances — including a cabinet top pellet ice maker — was available in the spacious kitchen area. The abundance, cleanliness, quality of the kitchenware was excellent, and there was more than the usual start-up of supplies. But what struck us as exceptional was the delightful variety of complimentary snacks on the sofa table and bottled water already cooling in the refrigerator. That made a huge impression on our family! The icing on top of the exceptional amenities were the bull elk and flock of 20 turkeys we got to observe every day! You can’t ask for a much closer view than watching bull elk with trophy-size racks eating Aspen leaves from the trees beside your private deck. We rate this stay among the top thanks to our decision to stay in Bob and Carole’s cabin in Estes Park!

Wonderful Cabin

This was a perfect cabin for my family. It's a true log cabin, but also felt so clean and nice, not as rustic as some. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and check-in was so easy. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again in the future.
