About this property

Above the Green- Pine Mountain Lake Getaway is located above the 1st tee on the PML Golf Course. Our home has been recently updated and is completely equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation and disentangle yourself from everyday life while relaxing on one of the 3 decks. It is in a private gated community in Groveland just 25 miles from Yosemite. PML also offers many amenities such as a fun trip to the lake, a golf vacay, a quiet place to work, and more

Our townhouse is 3 levels and tastefully updated with very clean modern amenities and can easily accommodate up to 10-12 guests with 4 beds, an air mattress and 1 cot. We also have pack n play for the little one if needed.

The top 3rd floor offers 2 Master Bedrooms w/ en-suite. The primary bedroom has a California King bed and its own private deck w/ table and chairs. The second upstairs bedroom offers a queen bed and both bedrooms have smart TV's.

The 3rd Bedroom is located on the bottom separate level and has its own entry that is located off of the back living room deck. It includes 2 Queen beds, a private bathroom, a coffee bar w/ mini fridge and a smart TV. This room has its own deck w/ table and chairs and is the ideal set up for a large family or friends visiting together.

The Main Floor has:
* Living Room w/ Vaulted Ceilings and a grand stone wood burning fireplace.
* Dining Area with a Table that can Seat 6-8
* Fully Equipped kitchen with an electric range & oven, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, keurig, and toaster. Cooking, serving and eating utensils provided include all the basics plus specialty ware like crock pot, blender, baking pans & more. Lots of spices and condiments, coffee, tea and sugar.
* Large Deck with amazing views overlooking the golf course with a Propane BBQ, Outdoor Lounge area and Table and chairs
* Front Patio w/ Table and chairs
* Smart TV in living room
* Cabinet full with games
*Wet Bar w/ mini wine fridge
* Laundry area with washer and dryer

The home has Central A/C and Heating and unlimited, fast WiFi.

Perfect location overlooking the #1 tee box, spacious, clean. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved the seating on the decks, lots of space, on the golf course, close to courts, pool, and food places. Master bathroom was maybe forgotten in last cleaning process… cause everything else was Great!

Nice cabin, confusing to find

The overall cabin was good. We had 2 minor issues. First, it was very difficult to get to. Though the owner instructions were correct, they were very confusing. Google maps directed us to go through the security gate to get to the property but the instructions said we didn’t have to go through security. When we asked both the security gate personnel and a security patrol, they both told us we had to go through the gate. The security gate charged us $40 per car (we had 2 cars). I texted the owner and they did reply quickly, but the instructions again were not clear. After an hour of driving between gates, security and paying $80, we found the cabin in few feet outside of the security gate and you can in fact get to it without going through the security gate. My second issue was with the 3rd bedroom. It is located through a different entrance and is separate from the main cabin. This is fine for adults but not very good kids. I don’t remember if the listing specifies this. However, the cabin did have a nice couch and roller bed so we made it work.

Nice Rental, close to Yosemite

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this townhouse! It was very spacious and provided great space for myself, my husband, and our 2 kids! Efforts have been made to update most of the townhome, especially in the kitchen which is a great space. The property is about 30 minutes from the Yosemite entrance gate, so it was pretty convenient for an option outside of the park. The home also has a great view overlooking the 1st tee on the golfcourse. We were also visited by several deer one evening outside the back deck! The hill and mountain views were fantastic as well. I would recommend that the floors in the property could use an extensive cleaning (both the carpets and the hardwoods). Also, each of the tubs and shower curtains need a good cleaning. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Anthony's dad grew up in this area as a child before moving to the bay area. His parents then later in life purchased a vacation home in PML for the family to enjoy approx. 15 years ago. As the family keeps growing and expanding out of that home we wanted to be able to continue making memories and sharing the joy of Pine Mountain Lake with our kids, nieces, nephews and friends for years to come. Since life gets busy we wanted to share it with others when we weren't able to use it. We hope you enjoy our home as well as the community just as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We loved the location of this property overlooking the golf course as well as how close it is to so many of the amenities. You really feel part of the community while still being able to relax in a serene setting on one of the private decks. Keep an eye out for the albino deer that love to come through the golf course in the later evening and graze. They are magnificent.

What makes this property unique

The bottom separate 3rd floor bedroom of this home is such an added benefit. We have been able to come up with our parents and friends and have been able to have our own space which is really nice.
