Summary:

Superb 3-room apartment located in the center of Paris in the 4th arrondissement, a few steps from Rue de Rivoli known for its many lively shops and restaurants. You are surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants, and a 5-minute walk from the Marais, the Beaubourg Center and the banks of the Seine. Bright, warm, tastefully decorated and fully equipped, my accommodation is ideal for a successful Parisian stay with family or friends

Great location

Fantastic location (if you are comfortable going up 6 floors) and the help and communication from the property owner was much appreciated. Some of the furniture was a bit rickety, and some dusty work was being done on the building while we were there, which slightly dampened our enthusiasm.

A great little property with good access to transport (Metro), shops and restaurants. The unit is on the top floor so if you have a lot of baggage you will need to do a couple of trips but otherwise well equipped and very comfortable.

The apartment was clean and the beds are very comfortable. The host was easy to contact and responsive, however we did have a problem with hot water in the shower that took about 24 hours to resolve. In light of the inconvenience we were granted free late checkout. The location is good and though the stairs are a climb, it does mean the apartment is relatively quiet for such a lively area. The kitchen could use more cutlery, there was only one proper wine glass and no dish towels or dish cloths were provided. There is a laundry machine but no detergent provided. There also aren’t any hooks or towel racks to hang wet towels. Overall it was a good stay in a great location.

This was a nice two bedroom apartment in the Marais area of Paris. It has no lift, and so one needs to be prepared to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs.

Well to our surprise the unit was located on the 6th floor with no lift! What would have helped in the decision making was if we were informed what floor we were on. My sister had to use her inhaler every other floor, my husband who is 75 took a while getting up and down the stairs.

Clean and comfortable

We had a nice stay in March, so temperature was not an issue. While it’s 7 flights up (no elevator), it wasn’t a problem for my family. The front door is a little tricky to open. Some of the ceilings are sloped since it’s on the top floor. It was really nice to have two full sized beds and two bedrooms. Beds were clean and comfortable. Location was great and central.

Super Clean and everything is new!

The apartment is very clean and everything inside is new. It's very comfortable. You should know it's on the 6th floor and there's no elevator/lift so be prepared to walk up with your luggage. Also the shower is very small, which is standard for Europe. Although it felt even smaller. Otherwise the place is great. We had a wonderful stay.

Convenient Location

We had a great stay at this apartment! The location was amazing--close to sites and close to a metro station that also has the RER. This made travel to and from the airport easy. There are several grocery stores around too which make it easy to get snacks, etc. The apartment is extremely clean and surprisingly large for Paris. Do be warned it is on the 6th (really 7th) floor and you need to be ready to walk up stairs with your luggage. The shower is also a tight fit and we are not large people. With that said, you can do anything for a couple days. I would stay here again for sure!

The apartment was very clean and modern. The stairs were difficult to manage especially with our luggage so if you have mobility issues or breathing issues this is not the place for you. The shower was extremely tight for all of us women who are under 150lbs. The location is super central and there were shops and groceries nearby however the bars were hopping and people were quite loud all night. Lastly, we had problems every time we tried to open our unit door. Sometimes it took 15 minutes to jiggle the door to make it open. The owners were responsive to our concerns but the problem persisted for our entire visit. We would like to recommend the unit but unfortunately we avoided it for most of our trip and only came back at bedtime as the stairs and door access were a pain.

You can’t ask for a better location

We were in Paris for 7 days. This Parisian apt is so much more than it sets out to be. It’s much larger than most and you really couldn’t ask to be more central to everything - metro, restaurants, shopping and sites. Very clean and Studio Prestige provided great communication way beyond just the apartment. There are only two things you must know. It is a 6th floor walk up. It will be challenging. And the shower will be difficult if you are large or very tall. Otherwise, my family and I were quite comfortable and happy.

Live Like A Local..

My friends and I loved this apartment. There were three of us and we were very comfortable there. Despite having a relatively low square footage, the space feels very roomy. We were all shocked at how big it felt. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The apartment is just a very short walk from the metro, and also not far from the Louvre (I think it took us less than 20 minutes to walk there). While, yes, it is a bit cumbersome to get luggage up six flights of stairs, this was a small chore that was well worth it for the location. Having laundry facilities was also a nice perk. The place does use fans for cooling, but we don’t get too hot. The shower is somewhat small, however, most showers I’ve seen in Europe are small. I would definitely stay here again.

Consider Having to Carry Your your Luggage 7 flights, 150+ steps!

No mention of there not being an elevator and having to carry our bags 7 flights. No reply to our emails asking if there was an elevator after we booked. No offer to help us carry our bags after informing them that we were seniors and one of has 2 torn rotator cuffs. Great location, clean and the shower measures 2ftx2ft. Average size person will not be able to bend down or turn around. W/D takes all day to do 1small load.

Overall a great stay.

Unfortunately our check in process was not ideal. A few reviews prior to mine mention the door being “tricky to open”. Well upon arrival after a long flight our door simply would not open, try as I may. It was a little disheartening to be right at the door to your accommodation and not be able to enter it after such a long flight. However, the Studio Prestige team was extremely responsive and had someone there within 20 minutes. They concluded an entirely new lock needed to be installed and subsequently had a locksmith there within the hour. After a new lock was installed and a new key issued, our experience improved greatly. The door will not be an issue for future tenants. The apartment is very clean, great lighting, it has two rooms with comfortable beds, and a washer dryer in the unit for long stays. The location is very central & ideal for exploration. You can walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, St. Germaine, etc. There are TONS of restaurants all around you. This is a busy neighborhood. If you are searching for a quiet and off the beaten path spot, this is not it. You are in the heart of it all. The apartment is on the 6th floor, so your daily routine will include a lot of stairs. Prepare yourself! The shower is small, like a camping shower. You have room to stand in it and that is it. It worked for me, but for larger folks it might present an issue. All in all, a great apartment and a very responsive host. I 100% recommend this place.

Beautiful city, took a chance on apartments central location, bad ideas

The Apartment is in the heart of the night life, very very loud at night cannot open windows when house is hot after gone all day. Police sirens all night. Along with people talking, laughing & yelling into wee hours of the morning. it is quite the party scene when coming home at night, doesn’t seem to be the safest area. We left for the airport at 5am, people breaking bottles in the street. 4 night stay and no extra supplies. Ran out of toilet paper had to go buy more at grocery store. Literally 4 people, 4 towels and one hand towel and one floor towel. In the kitchen one thin towel, no napkins or paper towels. A coffee and tea maker but no complementary coffee or tea. The apartment is remodeled recently, the curtains still have the tags on them. The beds are foam mattresses and comfortable. Now to the bathroom, what can I say… the shower is barely big enough for a person of average size to stand in, hope that you do not drop anything!! OH you will because there is nowhere to put your shampoo and soap. The rain shower head is way too big and the hand held piece is okay, way more practical if it was set high enough. There is nowhere to hang your ONE towel or the hand towel. And behind the door is a dirty mop, bucket & cleaner bottles (gross) instead of somewhere to hang a towel. No trash can, a soap dispenser but no soap in it. Oh and the toilet is across the hall from the sink and shower. The door key is almost impossible, struggled every night to get in.

thank you for your comment, the apartment is located in the heart of Paris and in a pedestrian area so very lively and very busy, we can do nothing about the outside noise (the heart of Paris is known for its frequentation), so you had to contact the police or other if there was a "party" in the street we are not aware of this and will not manage the streets of Paris you write complaining about not being able to open the window due to the heat yet it is very sweltering in Paris at the moment and the heaters were on (I don't understand this remark) Also there are no household products or condiments as indicated in our ad. I can't find any message complaining about all this. Your comment is really not nice and unfair because you are penalizing us. thank you and good luck

Das Apartment ist sehr gut gelegen. Vor der Tür Restaurants, Geschäfte etc. Louvre und Notre-Dame sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Pulsierendes Leben ringsherum. Trotzdem ist das Apartment ruhig. Und man wird nicht von Lärm belästigt.Das Einchecken war sehr umständlich. Der Link mit der Informationfür das Einchecken funktionierte nicht. Der Code, der mir dann zugeschickt wurde, war nicht für die Eingangstür, sondern für die Schlüsselbox, die in einem Briefkasten hinter der zweiten Tür zu finden war. Folge war, dass man nicht in das Haus hinein kam. Als uns der Code für die Eingangstür vom Service zugeschickt wurde, standen wir vor einer zweiten Tür, für die man offenbar einen anderen Code brauchte. Die Kommunikation mit dem Service war ein wenig zäh, weil uns immer nur der Link zugeschickt wurde, der aber nicht funktionierte. Immer nur eine Fehlermeldung im Internet. Letztendlich haben wir es geschafft, in die Wohnung zu kommen, haben aber eine Menge Nerven dabei gelassen.Das wurde aber aufgewogen durch die Wohnung, an der im Wesentlichen alles stimmte.
