Bahamas Beach Cottages - Quiet, Relaxing Area, Dog Friendly

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage is located just steps away from the Assawoman Canal in Bethany Beach. There are three parking spots available for all guests. New deck overlooking a community pond is the perfect way to end your evening at the beach. The Bahamas Beach Cottages community is a quiet community that is perfect for families that want to be near the beach but also want to enjoy a peaceful area to stay.

The house offers three spacious bedrooms (K, K & S, Q & S) with two full baths. There is a pullout sofa bed in the living room that can expand the number of guests to 10. There are also two cots located upstairs in bedroom closets that are available if needed. The downstairs has a combined kitchen/living area where you can relax while at the beach. There is a newly completed deck that overlooks the community pond and has a view of a fountain that is the perfect way to end your day. LVP flooring installed throughout the entire house.

The house has heat and A/C and is equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop/oven, refrigerator, air fryer, regular coffee maker, keurig coffee maker, and toaster. The house has internet and WiFi availalble. There are three TV’s, one with Roku/Cable access the other two with Roku access.

We provide trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, saran wrap, aluminum foil, storage bags, coffee filters, and starter paper towels and toilet paper. No need to take up space in your vehicle for those items!

Three parking spots are located next to the house and there is room for additional parking in the community shared area at the front of the property. Guests have the ability to access the Assawoman Canal in two locations near the property entrance for kayaking and paddle boarding. There is a trail alongside the canal for an enjoyable walk. A private outside shower is available for guest use. The deck sits facing the community pond with fountain and is shaded from the sun starting mid-afternoon. Bahamas Beach Cottages is located within a mile of the beach, but provides quiet nights away from beach traffic for those that want to enjoy a peaceful evening.

Great Stay!

Absolutely beautiful place! Clean, easy process, hospitable owners. With a family of 7 and 2 dogs, it is hard to find places, but this was truly a gem. We had a wonderful time.

Beach getaway

A great property that is walkable/bikeable to town . Enjoyed our stay . House was adequately stocked and owner was very responsive. The fact that it allows pets is such an added bonus !

Family Beach Reunion

Beautiful Bahamas Cottage

Heath is a great host, very attentive and he stocked the house with everything we could possibly need! The cottage is beautiful and in such a cute neighborhood. The bedrooms are bigger than I expected and there’s a really nice deck. Highly recommend for your next family vacation.

So Relaxing and Quiet!

We absolutely loved our stay it was the perfect space and location for our family. We really appreciated the quiet neighborhood and wonderful location. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay and the washer and dryer was very helpful. We were able to use the beach chairs,umbrella and cart which was very helpful for the beach. The homeowner was very responsive and answered any and all questions. We would def stay here again!

Wonderful family getaway

This was a beautiful clean and comfortable home with plenty of amenities. Fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen as well as bedding and towels. We were a large group and chose to dine in a few nights and the stocked home made it easy. Close drive to the boardwalk and beaches for our young adults with an additional bonus that we were able to have our pup join us on vacation. Thank you for sharing your home we hope to be back again.

Fabulous property

We were so happy with this property! It was clean, very roomy (huge bedrooms) and well equipped. The deck is comfortable and cool - no afternoon sun to deal with, the kitchen well stocked and easy parking/overflow parking. We will definitely rent here again! Close to downtown Bethany and the beach! Truly a fabulous rental! Thank you Heath!

Awesome Beach Week

The property was exactly as advertised, it was by far the best stocked property we have ever stayed in. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a very nice layout and was perfect for our needs. The property owners communicated often and responded immediately with any questions and/ or needs. I would highly recommend this property to both couples or families as it easily accommodated three small families (7 people total).

Excellent stay

The property and house is as advertised. They provided many items already (hand detergent, dishwaser detergent, garbage bags, bug spray, sun tan lotion, to name a few). We liked using the bikes they provided (including using the lock), the deck table for outdoor dining, the extra beach chairs, etc. They had all the appliances and cookware you would need. The owners communicated very well. Overall, extremely satisfied.

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot!

The property was exactly as described and everything was nice and clean. Check-in was a breeze. We LOVED that this property provided clean linens and also had everyday items stocked (soap, toilet paper, trash bags, etc)! This was our first vacation taking all the kids and having everything ready to go at the house was one less thing to stress about! It was a super quick drive to the beach. You could also ride the bikes to the beach although the quick drive was easier with small children. The community was very comfortable and friendly. Everything you need is close by. The owner was super quick to respond and very polite and easy to deal with! I would definitely recommend this home to our friends and family!

Great cottage!

This cottage located just steps from the Assawoman Canal is perfect for a beach getaway! Brought our SUP and could walk right down to the canal to use it. The house was extremely clean, bright, and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything you need: a stocked kitchen, clothes drying racks, paper products, outdoor games, and more! The outdoor shower was great. We used it daily to rinse off after our days at the beach. We saw turtles and watched an egret catch dinner out of the neighborhood pond! Great quiet location. We were able to get to Bethany, Rehoboth, Delaware Seashore Park, Fenwick Island State Park, and Ocean City, Maryland with ease. Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage!

Tremendous Host and Amazing House!

Let me start by saying that Heath is truly the host above all hosts. He was extremely responsive, (almost like he was waiting for me to send him a message) and helpful that made our trip exceptional. This beautiful cottage is located in a nice quiet neighbor which we loved. The place was spacious for 6 adults where we played games and did puzzles. We took Heaths advice and bike back and forth to the beach which was a breeze to do. For us it is the little things that help make the trip amazing like: sheets and towels included, laundry detergent included, all the kitchen appliances we needed (we love to cook when we vacay), update fridge and dishwasher, the beautiful deck and seating, having a working iron, ample parking, bikes, fishing rods, beach trailer and I could keep gong. There is no doubt when we travel to Bethany again that we will stay at Heaths amazing cottage, not just for the amazing space but because we know Heath will ensure we have a great trip. Thank you Heath.

Very very cute!

The house is just adorable, with a Florida keys feel! It's just as described - all new appliances in the kitchen, comfy seating in the family room, a great TV, a fun deck with a table and plenty of seating that overlook the pond, a great grill just off the deck, a large washer/dryer, easy parking, and plenty of closet space for anyone with a longer stay. There are nice touches too - bar soap with the cottage name, plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, and paper/soap supplies to get you started - maybe enough for the whole week! The location is quiet but an easy drive to Bethany beaches. It would be too far to walk, and the main road is too busy, but some would probably be fine biking it - we opted to drive. The parking pass is invaluable - we had absolutely no trouble parking during the 8-10:30am time frame, even on Sat/Sun, and had our pick of spaces in the evening! Communication with the owners was really great - they even mailed us a shirt that we left behind and helped keep an eye out for a Fedex delivery.

Great place to stay

This house was so nice!!!! It was furnished with almost everything you could think of or need!!! Plenty of room for all of us. Beautiful neighborhood. Coming from Central PA and being a hunting and fishing family, we, especially my three boys, loved the pond and the three deer we had come through the backyard the first night there. Any downtime we had the boys were fishing in the pond or riding bike. Beautiful home and Heath was great at getting back to me with any questions, and even text me about my sons insulin pen we forgot in the fridge!! Will definitely consider staying here again!!

Husky Hen gets an A+!

My entire family has always vacationed together - Mom, Dad, Brother's family, friends, etc. But this year, we wanted something for just our little family (with one friend for each of our two kids). the Husky Hen delivered 10-fold! The property is immaculate, serene, and provides every amenity you could think of - from aluminum foil to an ironing board to hand soap...and every kitchen appliance I needed to make a few dinners in the adorable kitchen! We enjoyed our evenings having a drink on the spacious deck, listening to the fountain in the pond behind the house, and watching the kids scooter around the neighborhood, play in the yard, and just hang out. We were so delighted with our stay that we have already looked at dates to return next year and might even splurge on a Fall getaway if we can swing it! Congratulations on this little gem!

Super clean, cute place!

The owners thought of everything down to the smallest detail! It was clean and spacious enough for 6 adults. We loved spending time on the front porch and large deck. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and made the renting process very easy! This is a great, quiet place to rent. Highly recommend!
