This was our second time staying here and it was great! Comfy beds, beautiful views, perfect home base for exploration. Owners are always very helpful!
We were very happy with our stay here. It was very well stocked with lots of extra towels, etc., and the kitchen had everything we needed--including a tray of condiment packages in the fridge! Beds were very comfortable, and we loved the location right next to the rail trail, park, and lake. Check-in and communication with the hosts was easy, and we would definitely stay here again.
This is a great option when staying in the Keweenaw. This property is clean and a great size for our family of four. Our one and only criticism would be the mattresses, they are very hard and uncomfortable.
We had a sister reunion, and this was the perfect place. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen was stocked pretty well with utensils, pots and pans, along with place settings, etc. The location was great. The view was awesome of the Bay and the walking trail was nice. We will definitely stay again.

Nice place. Clean Quiet, great view of the water. There is a big park right there along with boat landing area.
This place is great! My family and I stayed here. Lovely location right in Chassel. The property is only a couple hundred feet off of the water. Can't say enough great things!
The property was beautiful and modern with everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed on our vacation. Wonderful view of Portage lake and conveniently located to all the things we wanted to do in the Keweenaw. We felt very much at home there.
We stayed while picking our Husky up to bring him home for the summer. The place is absolutely beautiful and stocked well. The location is awesome with a beautiful view of the water to drink your morning coffee to. We will always check the availability of this property when we visit.
Always a pleasure to stay at this property. Communication from booking to check out was wonderful. Furnishings are beautiful, townhouse is clean and very spacious. Be aware, the bed in the master is very firm which doesn’t always suit everyone .
New, clean, super easy to access. Even though it’s right by the park and there was plenty of traffic from the ice fishermen, it’s quiet in the townhouse. Perfect location for spending time with our Tech student 😁.
Stayed for MTU Winter Carnival Weekend. Close enough to campus to be an easy drive. Great location. Beautiful home! So much space & everything was provided. Comfy beds. The view of the lake was amazing!
Lovely property! Former community center that has been converted to 5 units. Very clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. Next to the lake and park and close to the Chassell General Store. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again!
We rented this beautiful home while our son was at hockey camp at Michigan Tech. The home was absolutely beautiful and fulfilled all of our needs. The owners were amazing and extremely communicative. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area!!!!
This is a nice property for families. The beach and playground and right outside and even with the crowds from Strawberry Festival it was quiet inside. The layout is great and gives everyone their own space. Really convenient check in and check out and very minimal tasks to complete prior to leaving. The finishes also made it super easy to clean up after our kids.
Loved this place! Only concerns were a very full dumpster in front of our unit which led to many flies getting in the unit. No working TV & hard to get air flow through the unit with minimal windows. But a very clean & fully stocked unit! We hope to stay again!
We’ve stayed at this property before, just a different unit. We were excited to find this unit because we were previously told this property was being changed to long term rentals. Always love this property because the units are like new, modern, and always clean. We hope to stay here again next year when we come for our annual trip!
This is our second stay in this townhouse. The townhouse is near our family but it allows for our own space and cooking facilities. We thoroughly enjoy watching all the activity at the Chassell Township Park. The location provides many safe places to walk.
Overall everything was great. A couple notes. We could not get the WiFi to work and the entrance to the street is very hard to see.
Very cute space, loved the complimentary tea and coffee. Check out was super easy and the location was perfect for visiting MTU. Will definitely consider staying here again!
Thank you for this beautiful location in the UP. Love the little extras like the microwave popcorn and coffee. Beds were comfy and the view of the lake and park were amazing. While we did not spend much time inside we would stay again while visiting MTU.
