Secluded Mountain Lakehouse, Pets Welcome

Enjoy this beautiful and completely private vacation rental in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Comfortably Host 14 people in this 3 bedrooms plus bonus with 3 full bathrooms, and open Living Room/Dining Room with wood-burning stove. All front windows have stunning view on this amazing private lake and forest.
All pets are welcomed but must be disclosed in your booking message and additional charges apply. ($100 each pet, limit of two pets)

Hardly a day goes by without seeing all the wildlife this luxurious retreat has to offer after some strolling along the creek or exploring in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is the perfect place for a get-a-way vacation with the family or friends on 50 acres of private land. The Lakehouse is supplied with amazing mountain spring water from the Artesian well. We provide a three-person canoe to relax and explore on the large stocked lake. Due to the liability, no swimming in the lake is allowed. The whole lakehouse is wheelchair accessible. No firearms allowed on the property without approval from owner. No soil disturbance with any off road vehicles or ATVs. Open fires are prohibited, except in the designated fire pit.

Owners are available 24/7 by phone or email.

Located within minutes to downtown Galax, New River, New River Trail, Grayson Highlands. This area is famous for the Bluegrass Fiddlers Convention, the Blue Ridge Music Center and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. 5 wineries within 30 minutes, 10 within 1 hour of this property.

The half mile long gated private driveway to the Lakehouse is part compacted gravel and part asphalt. Speed should not exceed 10 miles per hour. We recommend four wheel drive from October through March.

Gated driveway. Code provided within 24 hrs of check-in. Landscapers may access the property to perform their quick maintenance during your stay. We do our best to schedule around guests but they have to work on mother nature's schedule more than ours.

Base nightly rate includes for 6 guests. Additional guests $10/pp/night. Private rental agreement and security deposit hold on credit card (like a hotel) are required.

Great, well equipped, peaceful home in beautiful setting. This home had best stocked kitchen of any I have stayed in. Sitting on the porch and watching the fish, deer, everything on the lake was beat way to end each day and start again in the morning.

We all really enjoyed and family and friends trip to this property! I am not sure the pictures do the property justice. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and our host/property manager was responsive and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again, and preferably longer.

Our family had amazing time. The place had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked and a nice grill outside. The lake was great for kayaking and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and visiting. The only thing that was not great was the one bathroom with the curtains. Great place to have a family get together!!!

Beautiful property, wonderful for a family reunion. House was clean, well maintained, and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The setting is amazing - we spent a lot of time just gazing at the lake, both from outside and from inside. We also enjoyed the provided canoe. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. It was a short distance to floating on the New River and to anything we needed from town. A lovely place for spending time together, around the table, on the porch, or around the fire. We would gladly return!

This was our third visit to this property! We love it - the serenity, the coziness, the seclusion, everything about it! The host added some new furniture this time: bedding and living room couches, to name a few. It is the perfect atmosphere to absolutely unwind; although, there is abundant cell service and Internet so it’s there if you need it. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and that is one of the many reasons we enjoy it! The host always replies quickly to any inquiry! The perfect getaway!

We had nine guests for the holidays here. This modern style home has a spacious layout for entertaining. The pond in the back yard is beautiful, surrounded by trees. We appreciated the nice hot tub, large dining table, spacious bedrooms, and cleanliness of this home. It is one of the cleanest homes we've ever rented. It definitely met our needs and would recommend it for a relaxing, private getaway with enough space for entertaining a larger group.

We loved the house and lake. This is a quiet and beautiful relaxing place to stay. We would definitely love to stay here again. The driveway needs some work but that is the only thing we seen that could use some improvement

Great vacation stay

Loved the lakehouse and deck. Such a beautiful outdoor space for relaxing! Also appreciated the kitchen having plenty of dishes, pots, pans, iron skillet, crock pot, blender, etc., because we love to cook and eat our meals together.

Work trip

We stayed here last year when we came to spay and neuter in Galax with our mobile clinic and enjoyed the hot tub after long days. Slept well in comfortable beds, and cooked in well stocked kitchen and ate around the big table.

Amazing property. Very beautiful and truly private. We loved the private lake. Perfect for a family retreat. Hosts were available to answer questions and house was stocked with all the essentials for the perfect mountain getaway. I would definitely stay here again

Great place

My family really enjoyed this house. The house is completely secluded and the pond is a wonderful view. We took long walks every day and were able to completely unwind. We will book this house again.
