Breathtaking Chefs Kitchen includes 2 sinks plus all High End Appliances (Oversized Fridge, Built-in Double Oven, Dishwasher, Gas Range, and Built in Beverage Fridge!) Large Quartz Island with seating for 6. Basic kitchen supplies are provided (pots, pans, utensils, coffee cups, glasses, mixing bowls, pot spoons, BBQ Utensils, baking sheets, cutting boards etc). Covered outdoor Propane BBQ located right off the kitchen.

Living Room has a Large Sectional perfect for cuddling up at the end of the night. Watch a Movie on a 75" TV (Netflix and Satellite TV). Enjoy all the channels you get at home plus extra movies and Sports!

The Cottage Sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms with 6 beds (2 rooms = king bed; 1 room = 2 doubles; 1 room = 1 queen bed and single). 3.5 Bathrooms including Master Ensuite. All bedding and towels changed after each guest.

There is a Washer and Dryer if you feel the need to do laundry on vacay.

After the Sun Goes Down, the Fun Continues Downstairs with a Fully Equipped Rec Room! Pool Table, Foosball, Poker Table and another 75” Flat Screen TV to Keep You Up All Night (Equipped with Netflix and Satellite TV).

HOUSE RULES

No smoking, No parties or events, No pets.

Smoking inside the cottage is strictly prohibited.

Do NOT place any items in the toilet other than provided toilet paper. If a clog occurs, it is the responsibility of the guest to cover the cost of unclogging.

Please do NOT pour grease or food remnants into drains, use composting bags (under the kitchen sink) and containers provided to dispose of food-related remnants.

Please Tie Off Pedal Boat securely. There will be a charge of $1000 for lost Pedal Boat, $500 for lost kayak/canoe.

Septic system clog, If a clog occurs the charge to unclog on a weekend is a minimum of $1000.00.

Please keep indoor furniture inside and outdoor furniture outside.

When Checking-out, simply tidy up, collect all garbage (maximum 2 bags), recycle and compost into the Front Foyer. Check-out no later than 11:00 am

Garbage – Please leave black garbage bags, tied in the front foyer. **do NOT leave any garbage outside as you don’t want to attract any unwanted visitors. Proper Separation of compost and Recycle is also required, please use provided green and blue bins.

Rental Agreement must by signed and returned prior to arrival.

Great Getaway spot with friends and family.

We had a great experience at this property, the place is clean and well kept, nice outdoor space and the host was easy to deal with and great communication. The only thing that was not so great was the water as the property is situated in a cove and the water is not clean and swimmable. Besides that we had a great time and would consider coming back again.Thank you Justin.

Beautiful cottage!

This cottage was amazing! It is beautiful inside, and well-equipped with everything you would need or want. The host is very responsive to questions. The water is shallow and weedy, so not the best for swimming, but the beach is great for kids to play on and the kids really enjoyed fishing, the kayaks, and the paddle boat.

Excellent stay

We rented this property with two other families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with towels, kitchen essentials, and even some outdoor toys and life jackets. We made use of the kayaks, hockey nets and basketball net. Justin is extremely prompt with communication and a pleasure to deal with. Location is less than 10 minutes off of Highway 400 - very convenient for those coming from the GTA. Would definitely recommend!

Lake House Stay

Our group of 7 adults and 2 children stayed at the Lake House for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time, the cottage is beautiful and well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. Firewood is provided and we enjoyed campfires around the fire pit. As the description stated, the water isn't swimmable due to high amounts of seaweed. Our toddler loved playing on the sand beach and going out for rides in the canoe and paddle boat. My only suggestion would be for Justin to print out instructions for the garbage, recycling and compost for when guests arrive - this was only available in the checkout instructions and we didn't realize there were compost bags. All in all, we would definitely return!

Great Property with a few Warts

Overall, I would recommend large groups to rent this house. It is large, well stocked, lots to do inside/ outside, comfy beds, and well furnished. There are a few things that could be improved and the major disappointment during our stay is the water access is NOT ideal for swimming. The property is at the end of a channel with very shallow water. The beach access is very sludgy and you are not able to jump in off the dock as the water is so shallow. Improvements: Check in/ out details - VRBO was saying the check in details needed to be provided by the host. The host said the details are in the app. Receiving the check-in code took multiple follow ups with the host and VRBO and I finally received the code just a few hours before check-in. There were no check out details provided directly by the host but upon reading the listing details I saw what was required. Even more strange was the host followed-up after check out as they were locked out. Apparently the code they provided me, no longer worked. It was a poor experience for check in and check out. Powder Room Lighting - the main light does not work and the dim timer lights leave you in the dark after 5 seconds. Towels - New but they had never been washed and left blue lint all over us, requiring us to wash them. Water - extremely soft, leaving your skin feeling greasy and hard to wash off soap. Construction - unfortunate timing but the neighbors were running bobcats and fueling a large burn pile the entire weekend.

Perfect Lake Home for a Family Group

We had a wonderful vacation at this lake home. Justin and his brother Ashton were the perfect hosts. Prior to our trip, Justin was very responsive to all my questions and throughout the week, Ashton replied very promptly to our questions. They both met us at check in and provided a thorough orientation to the property. Our family group included eight adults and three children (all under the age of 6). There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space - but also many areas to get together as a family. Inside, the house is beautiful and functional with large living spaces both upstairs and downstairs. Bedrooms are nicely decorated, with clean, fresh bedding. The bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all high-end appliances and is well equipped with everything we needed. We found with our big group there weren’t quite enough towels, dish cloths and tea towels so we put the washer and dryer to good use. Next time I’d take some of my own kitchen and bathroom linens from home to supplement what was provided. There is so much to say about the outside. The sandy beach was a hit with the kids and some beach toys are provided. There are lots of comfy Muskoka chairs scattered all around the property. There’s a nice fire pit area (they even provide firewood). A canoe, two kayaks, a paddle boat, and a floating mat (which the kids loved!) are all available for use, along with some life jackets. We rented a small motorboat from Six Mile Marina for the week and parked it at the property’s dock. The water off the sandy beach and dock is weedy and not very appealing for swimming but there’s a public beach and splashpad/playground for the kids not far away which we went to a few times. In the driveway area there’s a large area for basketball, soccer, and hockey – with equipment, balls and sticks provided. Thanks to Justin and Ashton for their hospitality. Our family loved this lake house, and we all hope to return at some point.

Excellent cottage

Just an hour North of GTA, you will find this great place for your friends and family. Very cozy, modern and private cottage. Our second time staying there. Very clean and well maintained place. Great fishing and boat rental places around. Will come back again.

Excellent property and host!

Justin is a great host. The property interior is very tidy and sparkling clean - the cleaner I believe disinfected the place top-to-bottom. The only reason I gave cleanliness 4 out of 5 is because of landscaping - weeds and vegetation is not as well managed. The property had a lot of entertainment available - board games, basketball game, non motor water sports. Finally Justin is very responsive every time we have any question! We’ll definitely consider staying here again!
