We had a lovely stay! Everything was clean and well-stocked. There are a few hikes and sights nearby as well has places to get groceries and the like. Acadia National Park is a quick car trip away. We enjoyed the sunset from the backyard. Highly recommend!
Loved sitting by the water. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was great. Very clean too! We love this part of the Island… took some wonderful hikes too! Thanks for a wonderful getaway!
My family booked this home for a few days during our vacation in Acadia National Park. The home was exactly as described, and everything about the stay was perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, accommodating, and in a beautiful location. We wish we could have stayed longer!
This place was an oasis of relaxation amidst our hikes, swims, bike rides within Acadia and visits to Bar Harbor. Waking up to have coffee on the deck, read by the water, watch my teens slog through the mud at low tide. Saw many deer, hawks, fireflies. House was well-equipped for cooking and grilling. We even had space to do a jigsaw puzzle together. Highly recommend.
We loved this beautiful home so much! It is just perfect for visiting the area, or staying in and relaxing. There are also grocery stores nearby with a good selection. The view is lovely and the landscaping creates a beautiful scene. Thank you for an amazing experience!
This property and the location on the ‘Quiet Side’ turned out to be a great choice for us. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens, dishes and cooking utensils. The property manager was very responsive to our needs. Close to Southwest Harbor for coffee/cafes/restaurants. The 20-30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia Park was not a problem at all…every route was so beautiful and scenic. We would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. It was a beautiful and cozy stay and it allowed us to stay fairly close to Acadia/Bar Harbor. The place was clean and everything was as described. Would recommend!!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and well-supplied. The view is unbeatable. For whoever stays in the upstairs room, be careful of the slanted low parts of the ceiling - it is easy to hit your head! Our checkout time was 9am - it would have been nice for a later time since we were requested to start a load of laundry, take trash out, etc. But overall, a lovely stay and would stay again!
Beautiful property, had a great stay.
Had everything we needed. Good location, the grass was immaculate and the view was also good.
Would stay there again for sure.
Great Stay - tucked away in the quiet part of Mount Desert Island.
Loved our stay in this location! Quiet, clean and cute property was great for our family of 4. We did a number of hikes and kayaking close to Echo Lake and Long Pond. Great location for those that don't want the crowds of Bar Harbor, but want the beauty of the Island.
We had such a lovely stay here. The yard is impeccable and so relaxing to sit by the water or eat outside. The home had everything we needed and was great for our family of six.
The upstairs bathroom was a tad small for my tall husband as he had to bend over a little to use the restroom and we had some trouble not splashing water out of the shower onto the floor (but we just had an extra towel to catch the water).
I would definitely stay here again and it’s a pleasant drive into Acadia National Park.
Also, my teen son said the water pressure was great for showering!
A quiet, quaint and relaxing place to stay with my family. The owner gave us great suggestions for local restaurants (which were fantastic) and the vibe of the town was low key and chill (especially compared to Bar Harbor). The house was very clean and cute! I already miss morning coffee from the deck!
