At Morgan’s Hacienda, you’ll find yourself nestled within a 1+ acre private Adobe style retreat, atop an elevated lot, with premium views of iconic Sedona Red Rock landmarks Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. As stunning as these daytime vistas are, Sedona’s “Dark Skies” shine at night. Sedona is a star gazer’s delight. You can enjoy these around the clock world famous sights from the secluded and manicured backyard oasis featuring a heated Pebble-Tec pool*, and expansive covered patio. This home is beautiful every month of the year.

My wife and I have been visiting Sedona for nearly 30 years and are proud to call Sedona our second home. We marvel every visit at the incomparable beauty of the Red Rocks. With literally hundreds of named and marked trails, it’s easy to immerse yourself in Sedona’s splendor. Whether you’re interested in reflecting within one of Sedona’s famed vortices, walking, hiking, rock climbing, or mountain biking, there are outdoor options suited for every skill and fitness level.

When not hiking the Red Rocks, Sedona and the surrounding area offer many other activities that can fulfill everyone’s desires. Explore excellent restaurants, the region’s wineries with estate vineyards, and shopping for unique art in many forms (clothes, painting, indoor and outdoor sculpture, rugs, jewelry, and pottery) created by Native American as well as other local and Southwestern regional artisans. There are two acclaimed championship golf courses virtually at your doorstep; both are within several miles of Morgan’s Hacienda. Sedona Golf Resort and The Oak Creek Country Club are open to the public and offer memorable experiences for golfers of all skill levels. The courses are distinctly different in character and layout creating 2 great opportunities.

Spent a week at Morgan's View with family (8 adults and 2 babies). The house is stunning and location is great. It's hard to do the views justice in pictures. Check-in was easy and home was clean and spacious. Would certainly stay again without hesitation.

Incredible views

We enjoyed our short stay in Sedona last week. The location was great - outside the busy traffic of the center of Sedona, shorter drive from Phoenix and Tucson. The house worked well for two families. Kitchen was well equipped. The views from the property were amazing.

Family break for snowbirds ... pictures and promises are understated. Beautiful property, surrounded by more beautiful property. Blue skies, heated pool, hot tub and steam room. More trails than you could ever walk. Kids loved it. Adults loved it. We all loved it!

Perfect Escape

This house is the ideal location to experience Sedona's unique soroundings, My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our stay in this quite and private neighborhood. This home is perfect for a relaxing stay. We were not able to take advantage of all the amenities the house has to offer since we were so caught from the outside views we spent most of the time at the terrace or garden. The location is perfect for exploring Sedona and starting excursions i.e the meteor crater or the grand canyon. Thank you to Jeff for sharing this beautifull gem and enabeling a very memorable vacation for us.

Beautiful Views but missing some features.

The View from the backyard was absolutely gorgeous. The house was clean and could accommodate sleeping arrangements for a large group. However, we were disappointed that the Hot tub was broken, the pool light was broken, we had to pay extra if we wanted the pool heated and their were very few lighting outside. It was unfortunate because basically once it was dark if we needed to be back inside.

Hi Grant, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed the view, the clean home, and sleeping accommodations for your group. It is unfortunate that the hot tub was not working, but as communicated prior to your arrival, this was a recent development. Repair is pending but like many items these days, the part is on back order due to supply chain issues. This is the first we are hearing of the broken pool light. That fixture was just replaced last month. We do wish we had heard about the light during your stay so we could have problem solved together on a solution. The pool heating is a luxury we are pleased to offer and is optional. We do wish we had heard that you did not prefer to have it, and the fee could have been removed and the pool left at ambient temperature. Regarding the lights in the backyard, the city of Sedona is subject to a light ordinance to minimize light pollution. Low level outdoor lighting allows the stars to shine maintaining the municipality’s Dark Sky City designation. Thank you again for staying at Morgan’s Hacienda.

Amazing view and house!

This house has the most amazing view and outside space. So beautiful and peaceful. We liked that it was not in Sedona but in the more quiet village of Oak Creek. Our party of 9 was very comfortable staying there. Jeff was a great host, very responsive to messages. Our only complaints were the decorative towels in most of the bathrooms that you were not supposed to use. Please don't have things in your rental that you don't want guests to use. I had to police people with the towels, put them up so someone didn't accidentally use them, then put them back in place. It was a weird stress for me. Also, there are only 2 bathrooms with showers, so sharing is a must for your group! Overall, it is an amazing place and would highly recommend it and would stay again! It is very convenient to trails, restaurants, and day trips to Jerome, Page Springs, and Cottonwood.

60th Birthday Celebration

Spectacular stay at this truly amazing house! We were a group of eight people… Plenty of room to spread out, and also beautiful gathering spaces to spend time together … cooking, eating, watching movies, and relaxing on the patio and pool area. The backyard and pool area are immaculate and provide a beautiful backdrop for the hundreds of pictures I took … simply stunning! The red rock views from this home are gorgeous. The location is in a lovely community and is easily accessible. The road into Sedona from the house provides breathtaking views from all angles. All communication with the property owners was timely and cordial. EVERYTHING we needed during our stay was provided … lots of attention to detail. Close enough to stores, restaurants, etc., but far enough to enjoy peace and relaxation …simply enjoying the property! We did venture out to Slide Rock, did tours to Antelope Canyon and Grand Canyon, and took a fun ride on the Sedona Trolley. The natural beauty of Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Coffee Pot Rock, and Chapel of the Holy Cross is astounding and well worth a visit. Overall, my family had an amazing stay in Sedona and we simply cannot say enough good things about Morgan’s Hacienda. Hope to visit again one day!

The View is Real

The backyard and pool are a bonus for this property! We spent the bulk of our time out there. The kitchen was large and a great place to hang out around the island. However, the inside of the property did not feel clean. The carpet in the master is in need of a steam clean, as you can definitely smell smoke in this room. The bedding, towels and soaps all need an upgrade. We were missing sheets on one of the beds and the towels had not been taken out of the dryer from the cleaning staff. There were labels and rules on everything. One of the rules was "please do not use the decorative towels in the bathroom." What towels were we to use and why would these even be out? The first thing we saw as we walked in the door was a huge fluorescent green sign that said "do not play music or make noise outside, as the neighbors are complaining and they will call the police!" This did make us nervous as we had teens at the house and in the backyard often. READ the pool agreement, as It is on a separate meter and you will pay per unit used. This was not really brought to my attention until the agreement was emailed to me shortly before the trip and I had a minute to read the large document. I love Sedona and have been there before. I would not stay at this house again.

Hi and thx and the only "label" in the house is the tiny white p-label next to some decorative towels, but we'll be there in April and will remove it (the other "label" is for the WiFi password). The cleaners occasionally (not often) leave a load of pool towels in the dryer (to dry) after departing to allow guests such as yourself to get in house earlier. The sign about "loud music" in the backyard is there at request of some of the neighbors, particularly late at night -- we rarely have issues (if ever). But if a loud pool party at night is in store, as you suggest, this may not be the right house (just FYI). The Rental Agreement (pool policy) is indeed presented at check-out (automatically by the VRBO computers) and there is a box requesting renters confirm they read it on booking (we're sorry if you overlooked it). The pool heating policy we adapted is the most lenient and least expensive in all of Sedona (we've checked all the others). Thanks again, Jeff & Eli

The house was beautiful as expected. It was clean and well stocked. The property manager was quick and helpful. We really loved our week in Sedona. If I could offer any suggestions it would be deep fitted sheets and maybe a better coffee maker.

First time to Sedona

The backyard, pool and view are better than pictured. Unbelievable views. Great location, quiet neighborhood area but easy to get to great restaurants and grocery. House could use a couple updates but nothing that impacts quality of stay. My family loved our trip to Sedona, we will be back.

Melissa, thanks so much for your comments. As you kindly pointed out Morgan’s Hacienda is a wonderful place. We would like you and future guests to know that updates are just around the corner. The property is scheduled to be unavailable for rentals thru the fall of 2022 then bookings will resume as we get ready for subsequent work. Our initial plans begin in August with roof replacement, new HVAC system, and phase 1 of landscape work including a host of new plantings, additional backyard seating, an outdoor kitchen, and an outdoor fireplace area. Next phases will include a complete remodel of the pool and surrounding hardscape as well as an extensive interior renovation updating current bathrooms, flooring, and furniture. Along with the updating we will be adding 1 bathroom, new kitchen appliances and design, and fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. We cannot wait to enjoy and share these updates with family, friends, and future guests. We will post pictures to our site as changes occur. We hope that you and your family/friends come back to visit the remodeled Morgan’s Hacienda.
