Outstanding property!
Our family of four had a terrific week staying at this property. The house itself is warm and comfortable. It is not modern, but it is very functional, clean and efficient. The views are spectacular . The house is very private although worth noting that there is a guest house with other tenants. It is easy to access Acadia and all the wonderful MDI villages. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful week staying at the Berries cottage! The house is well appointed and set in a beautiful, quiet spot, but still close enough to trails and Southwest Harbor. The beds were comfortable and nicely furnished. The view is simply amazing and we spent lots of time on the back porch. There was a lovely couple staying in the guest house who are there for the summer, but you have enough distance to still feel very private. Great communication with the owner. Would return in a heartbeat!

Berries Cottage…a little piece of heaven
We loved everything about Berries cottage. From the minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. It’s a beautiful cottage that’s super cozy. We had the best sunsets, deer visiting morning & dusk, comfortable bed all the feels of home away from home. Doug is a spectacular host. Do yourself a favor and rent this little gem. I promise it won’t disappoint. We look forward to coming back soon!

Wonderful stay near Bass Harbor Lighthouse
We had a wonderful time at this home near the Bass Harbor Lighthouse. The home is spotlessly clean and exceptionally well furnished and is right on the water with excellent views of Bass Harbor. We really enjoyed being on the "quiet side" of Desert Island and this home did not disappoint!
