OUR FOUR HOMES HAVE MONTHLY WINTER RATES
Walk to the Beach! We are only 4 minutes to the beach path. 6 North Live Oak is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home and residents enjoy an expansive panoramic golf and lagoon view! Over 3,700 square feet, all on one floor and sleeps 8. High ceilings with many skylights, open/spacious rooms, bright and sunny throughout, garage, dog friendly by arrangement and a pet fee paid, no size restrictions, but dogs must be at least one year of age. A fence encompasses the entire pool and terrace which includes a generous grassy area for doggy convenience, allowing your canine family member to join you, without worry. This fence does not compromise the view, but allows freedom for our visiting doggy guests & convenience for their owners.
This home on Live Oak Road, is located inside of the Sea Pines Plantation, not far from The Beach Club. It is on a beautiful street with lake-lagoons on both sides of the house and fairway golf course views out the back of the home which is mainly all glass to the views ... it has over 3700 square feet - and is light and bright throughout the home with large spacious rooms, high ceilings & skylights ... recently tiled hardwood look alike floors. Wifi of course. The living room has 52' flat screen TV, blue ray DVD, Bose surround sound. Den has TV and DVD. There are two master bedrooms, with bathrooms en suite. One, overlooking the pool, has a king sized bed, walk in closet, bathroom with shower and dressing table, the other a queen bed, that bathroom has a tub and a separate shower, both have TV's with Blue-Ray DVDs. There is one bedroom with twin beds and the fourth bedroom consists of a full size bed and a twin bed. 4 Bedrooms 3 l/2 Baths ... sleeps 8.
Wide open, sunny, spacious pool and spa area. The barbecue is conveniently located here, next to the kitchen, & overlooking the golf course. In cooler weather, both pool and spa can be heated.
Near the beach: Walk across the street and down to a beautiful beach on the Atlantic Ocean, less than 600 yards, 4 minutes to beach path.The Sea Pines Beach Club is roughly 1/2 mile down the beach and it serves drinks, lunch and dinner and has live music in the summer.
We manage our properties ourselves, and guests may reach us 24 hours a days for questions or concerns, both before and during their stay.

Dogs: We allow up 2 two dogs upon request. The fee is $225.00 for each dog.

Perfect HH Vacation House

Lots of room! Very clean and well equipped. We loved the grand entrance and open living and kitchen areas. The views from the inside to the pool and the golf course beyond are beautiful. The whole family spent many hours in the large pool and spa. My son liked taking photos of a resident eagle near the house. We loved the easy access to the beach. Great location.

Beautiful house and property!

We came with our kids and dog for spring break, and the photos do not do the property justice. The yard, pool, and views were spectacular. Live Oak Road is beautiful and peaceful; very little traffic. The house has lots of space and everything we needed for a wonderful week! Would love to come back.

Great place to stay in Sea Pines

This was an exceptionally well-equipped property, everything we needed was in the kitchen. 4 bedrooms for the family, and lots of sitting areas to each have our own space at times. It was especially nice to spend some time reading at night in the front den. Walking distance from the Golf Club and Beach Club (I walked back after a round of golf) and easy to rent a bike and go all over Sea Pines. We look forward to returning some day.

Everything about our stay was great . I brought my kids and 2 friends along between 13 and 18. The house had plenty of room for all 8 of us. The pool area was fantastic. The kids and I got a pass to fish in sea pines and the lagoons around the house kept us busy fishing. Short bike ride to the beach . Overall a great and relaxing stay . Very close to everything yet in a very quiet area

Spring break

It was a very clean property but definitely dated. The beds weren’t very comfortable. There is a neighbor who’s extra for sure. Lights must be turned off by 10 pm because of the neighbors. We had family coming in late about 11 pm and had to leave lights on because it’s super dark. Of course the neighbor tracked us down next day to comment about it. OMG! Otherwise Carol is a fabulous host!

We have just recently returned from a perfect week at 6 North Live Oak! My family and I have been coming to Hilton Head for the past 8 years and just love Sea Pines. We have stayed in several rentals over the years that were all very nice, but none compared to 6 NLO, it was perfect!! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home! 6NLO is very warm and inviting, the décor is beautiful and the home is stocked with everything you could imagine, right down to beach toys! Oh and the pool....AMAZING!! Sometimes it was hard to leave the beautiful pool to head out to the beach! Not only is the home perfect, but Gary & Carol allowed us to bring our dog with us, to some they are just pets, but to us he is part of the family. In my rental experice you sometimes have to worry about the homes that allow pets, but that is not the case with 6 NLO! Dog Lover or not you will LOVE this house. It is literally minutes to the beach and very close to Harbor Town and South Beach, you can't go wrong! On top of the greatness of the house the owner is amazing as well! She was always available to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot ;). She spells everything out for you in her Welcome Letter, which is very helpful. We had a great house for the week which made for a perfect vacation. We will definitely be returning next year!! :) Thank you Gary & Carol The Nestlehutt Family

Gorgeous home in HHI

We loved staying at Live Oak so much, and the single level was much appreciated, that we are going to reserve another property from Carol in 2023. The house was the best equipped, cared for, cleaned house we have rented in YEARS. So impressed with the beach toys, games, amenities, including the variety and amount of cooking utensils! (Amazing) “connected tv”, combined it was all so essential to allowing EVERYONE, from 8-69, to relax. The heated pool and spa overlooked the gorgeous fairway and just added to the sense of tranquility. The trees added some crucial shade even though it was quite hot, as expected. It made all the difference. Recommend everyone consider this property for their vacation needs.

First Vacation in Hilton Head

The home was amazing. It looks better in person and is very large and open. The pool and patio were great to hang out at all day and the beach is a short walk/bike ride. Carol was quick to answer any questions prior to our stay and they had everything taken care of by the time we arrived. It was nice having our 2 dogs with us. Will definitely stay at one of their properties again!

Beautiful Hilton Head

This was our first time in Hilton Head. Carol and Gary were first-class hosts from the moment we booked it in March of 2021 till we arrived for the month of February 2022. We will be back!

This house was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was large enough for our family to spread out yet all be together. The pool was fantastic and where we spent most of our time. Although we ate dinners out the kitchen was spacious and looked to have everything you would need. We are already looking to book again next year. I also want to mention Carol the owner was extremely responsive and responded quickly to any questions. Her letters she sends before you arrive are thorough and leave very little if anything unanswered. She was wonderful.

Nice Place Great Location

This was our annual family trip to HHI and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! Perfect quiet location with a very nice pool for when the beach is too much. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach from the house. Very dog friendly with tile and brick floors everywhere except to bedroom. We will definitely stay here again!! Thank you Carol and Gary!!

Wonderful and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at this house so much! We had plenty of room to spread out, and the layout of rooms helped with privacy and quiet. And we enjoyed the pool deck every day, with the grill, lounge chairs and views of the golf course. This was a wonderful house and we’d love to say again.

Much needed getaway

6 N Live Oak is in such an AMAZING neighborhood. It's perfect for biking, golf and exploring the wildlife. You will definitely see a wide array of animals. There was a HUGE alligator that sat in the front yard for most of the week. Our checkin was flawless. We really enjoyed our stay. The reason I gave 4 stars is the home is outdated, but very clean. I would highly recommend Gary & Carol's home. I wish it would have been warmer, the pool is AMAZING!! It's a GREAT property if you have a dog. The backyard is fenced in, which is hard to find on HHI. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach!! We would definitely rent this property again!

What a fantastic ending to a crazy year!! This property is all it is advertised to be. Tucked away, yet super close walk to the ocean and beach club. We had 6 family members for this trip and all had room to spread out for privacy if wanted, but also many great gathering spots for family time. LOVED IT!!

Why they chose this property

We had been looking for a holiday home throughout the south. We found Sea Pines the perfect answer. Nothing commercial, just a lovely Plantation with natural beauty both in the residential areas and along the vast unspoiled beaches. When we walked into this particular house, the dramatic entry hall, open high skylighted ceilings, with a huge wall of glass beyond, surprised and wowed us as we entered, and as it has most of our visitors since. We were finally home!

What makes this property unique

An pleasant walk to the beach. A wide open property, both inside and out, on a quiet wide lagoon divided road. Loads of sun for the fenced pool, large paved pool deck with a grassy area for visitors with a dog.
