I'm sorry the property didn't meet your expectations. I spent more time on the phone with you, at your request, both before and during your stay them I have with any other guest describing both the property and the surrounding area. You didn't express any level of dissatisfaction until a day or two before the end of your stay when I called you at your request with check out instructions. I asked you to send me pictures of what you were unhappy with and you sent me pictures of a stray cobweb that was missed in the corner of the ceiling, some dust on the ceiling fan blade, dust on the top of a storage tote hidden from guests, an ant trap behind the fridge (you falsely claimed it was a mouse trap and you were afaraid a mouse was in there), and a bookshelf that wasn't organized the way you thought it should be. In reference to your junkyard comment I'm sure you are referring to the stainless steel sink in the grill area that hasn't been hooked up yet and some building materials on the side of the trailer where guests wouldn't normally be. You also complained about some stray pine needles on the porch...I would politely suggest you adjust your expectations in the future before thinking about booking an RV/cabin in a campground.

Apologies for the bathroom issue, property maintenance/management locked that bathroom temporarily for repairs. The next closest bathroom is at the clubhouse which is less than a hundred yards away. There are porch lights but late check ins aren't typical and I'm not on location so that can be difficult to arrange. Thanks for choosing my place.

Thanks for the review Brittany. Glad you you had a great time overall. Sorry about the confusion but we did speak a few days before your stay about the hot water issue in the trailer and you said it wouldn't be an issue since hot water is readily available in the bathhouses nearby. Unfortunately with it being an older property/ rv in a rural area it can be difficult to find parts or someone to repair it on short notice. The stove top inside the trailer actually does work, it is just the propane oven that does not work which is why we place the electric one in there. We also spoke about how there are two large electric skillets available in the kitchen and a large outdoor grill for cooking. We are sorry about the apparent smell of the toaster oven, nothing was noticeable when I left the property but I will look into that. In regards to the cleanliness issue the older gray flooring and it being an older property surrounded by trees and sand can make it appear dirtier than it actually is, I can assure you that it is regularly cleaned. I spent several hours myself cleaning the property before your arrival including mopping the floors, cleaning the refrigerator, cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen, vacuuming all the rugs, washing all the furniture covers and sheets, installing brand new curtains, and installing brand new 12,000 BTU air conditioning unit. We are doing our best to update/renovate the property as we go in order to provide the best experience for our guests. In regards to the Wi-Fi, connection can be difficult in that rural area but starlink recently became available and will be installed soon but in the meantime there was Wi-Fi available at the pool and the clubhouse along with the ability to connect a phone hotspot to the LG Smart TV to get over 200 plus channels. There's also a large collection of DVDs and books which we did speak about. I appreciate the communication and the review and look forward to hosting you again.
