2 miles away from downtown Clayton! From the moment you walk into this beautiful cottage, it is love at first sight! It’s so bright & airy with amazing lighting from the beautiful floor to ceiling windows, you will instantly feel success on your choice of bookings! From the new comfy furnishings to the wide open floor plan, you will love the cleanliness, class, and comfort the cottage gives. Located in a beautiful area of the North Georgia mountains, this cottage is a gem. The kitchen has everything you need to make a homemade meal or simply make a cup of coffee to enjoy on one of the 2 patios offered. It is so close to everything the area has to offer from hiking, golfing, waterfalls, outdoor fun, shopping, wineries, and amazing dining, all while tucked back off great paved roads in its own little space amidst lush greenery, so you feel the privacy you need too. It has two beautiful bedrooms, complete with incredibly comfortable king beds with the coziest of sheets and comfy toppers to give you amazing rest. The Master has a lovely en suite attached and the guest room has a bathroom right off the hallway. The Cottage also has a nice gas grill on the back patio in case you want to bbq and eat in. It has great parking and is NOT on the side of a mountain. If you’re wanting a relaxing, clean, cozy, beautiful space for your vacay or even a work trip, this is it!
It is owner managed, which is a HUGE perk, since we personally make sure your stay is amazing!

Please be advised this Cottage is not a pet friendly space. For the sake of our guests with allergies, we maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and do not accept pets under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful, the home was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative. We had an issue with the tv in the living room and they came out and replaced it right away. The house is only a few minutes from downtown Clayton which is really convenient for shopping and dining.

Sarah and Joseph are great hosts. Check in was easy. The cottage was perfect for my husband and my stay, close to restaurants, shops, vineyards and multiple state parks for hiking. The cottage was very cozy, comfortable and well decorated. The king beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed should you decide to cook. We will definitely stay again when in the area and will recommend it to friends and family. It’s a 10 out of 10!!!!

Good base for weekend getaway

House was very clean. Country feel but close to town. Lots of waterfalls and mountains nearby. Kitchen had what we needed although a few more forks would be nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of ceiling fans and hot water.

Fantastic cottage near Tallulah Gorge

Great little cottage! The hosts are helpful and responsive and we had a great stay with our little family. Amenities are optimal for the space, and the home is welcoming and well lit. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Place!

The Cottage was perfect. We had a great stay and enjoyed the Cottage greatly. Only thing that would make this Cottage any better would be a fireplace. Can say for sure if it's available we will stay here again on any future trips to the area. Highly recommend it!

Charming Cottage, perfect location!

This little cabin is cute and cozy, a perfect place to relax and get away. The surrounding trees and flowers make it feel secluded and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the abundance of blankets too! It's only minutes down the road from the town of Clayton for shopping and restaurants. It's also a good "base" location to explore Tallulah Gorge State Park, Helen, Dahlonega and more in North Georgia!

SPRING GET-AWAY 2024

Myself and my husband, along with another couple throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hutch's Mountain Cottage. The exterior was pleasing and well-maintained. We loved having a little garage. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee pot made the HOTTEST coffee!! We welcomed this because we had mornings in the low thirties, but we were snug in the comfy beds and there were lots of nice blankets for cuddling. The cottage is extremely clean!!! It is decorated beautifully too! If there was one change it would be the shower heads. Everthing else gave that luxury feel. The location is perfect for day trips to Clayton, Franklin to the Highlands (64 East to see all the waterfalls), and Cherokee. All in our party agreed that on a scale of 1-10 it would be a solid 9.8! Next time, we want to be there on a Friday night so we can go to the Tiger Drive-In theater!!!! I hope anyone else that chooses this sweet cottage will enjoy their stay as much as we did!! Our hosts were great communicators! ❤️

EIGHT GREAT AUTUMN VACATION DAYS

Photos and listed description of cottage was very accurate. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and within easy access to all the area has to offer. Hosts were great to work with. Kitchen supplies were somewhat limited which might be expected from hosts who are new to the vacation rental scene.
