Perfect for what we needed

This vrbo was great for what we needed. It's an old building so you can hear the people above walking around upstairs but a fan will drown out the noise if it bothers you. Large assortment of games, coffee etc. My son just moved in at Michigan Tech. This place was close to campus (about a 5-10 min drive).

Good enough

There wasn't much available during move-in weekend at MTU and we felt that this listing was good enough for our needs. We had a hard time feeling comfortable in this unconventional living space. Interrupted sleep time due to upstairs tenant walking around at all hours of the night.

Thank you for your review Theresa. We wish you would have shared these concerns with us during your stay. We do take feedback, both positive and negative, accordingly and act upon them. On that note, We have been hosting at this property for 2+ years and advertise it just as it is, a converted commercial unit in an apartment building. We do have plans to wall out 3 bedrooms in this unit during the winter to modernize the property as we continue to grow and improve. Thank you for staying with us, we look forward to hosting you again in the future in one of our properties.

Didn’t seem like a bad area but all of the business buildings are not businesses anymore. The property is in an old building, which is unique and the idea is great. The problem is that the unit smells very strongly of old building. I felt like it was not clean because of the smell. Cool idea but I would not stay again
