Mrs Russell’s House is an artistic blend of the historic and contemporary — a delightful house dating back to the early 1800s.

Ample living area, with beautiful pool and deck overlooking Governors Harbour. A short walk down the hill gets you to the heart of town, with restaurants, grocery supply stores, coffee shops, fresh fish, and more all right on your doorstep.

The space
Mrs. Russell’s House has three full-size bedrooms. Two feature king-sized beds and the third has twin beds. There are 3 modern bathrooms with showers.

The house has a large formal living room, dining room with seating for six, and a fully equipped island kitchen with a gas cook-top and modern appliances.

Mrs. Russell’s estate is surrounded by a lush garden that is home to many fruit trees, bougainvillea, hibiscus, aloe, and coconut palms. The shared estate pool is the perfect place to relax, with the pool deck fielding views of the harbour, which add to the delight of the well-manicured grounds.

Amenities include flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, wireless internet, hi-fi stereo, washer/dryer, and off-street parking.

At Squires Estate, your well-being is our top priority. We are taking the Covid-19 virus very seriously and want to ensure your comfort and safety when booking any one of our properties. We are disinfecting all hard surfaces with approved cleaning agents between stays as we have always done. Bahamian paradise

House was perfect! Very happy with the great location of this rental, it was convenient to everything with many spots within walking distance. Patrick was an excellent host and very accommodating; he is a wealth of knowledge for the area, should definitely catch up with him in the beginning of the trip it would not have been the same without his help! We will definitely be back!

Well appointed adorable rental

The house was perfect for my family of 4, plus dog. It is adorable! I think the property managers do an excellent job. The house was ready for our last-minute booking. I also liked how basics like toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, and coffee (and filters) were provided. It’s nice to not have to do a huge grocery store run on arrival. Thank you for our great stay!

Annual 4 day trip to Eleuthera

We booked this house and paid in full about 11 months ahead of the stay. Communications were excellent. The house was well equipped and we liked the fact that bottled water was supplied. The pool was great but note that it is shared. The beach chairs and towels were very useful. Overall the house was great, comfortable and well equipped. We noted two small down sides, one is the early morning roosters, which of course are outside of the owners control. The second was a couple of people coming up the steps looking in the windows from the house below while we were relaxing and eating, they didn’t seem to respect privacy

Pure comfort, perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as shown. Very good communication prior to and during our visit. Great information as well for what to do and where to go, with great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, shopping. It was wonderful to have all the beach gear available including chairs, umbrella and cooler-which we used almost every day! The location can’t be beat-a 5 minute walk or less to groceries, restaurants, coffee. While you can see the water from the property, the beach is in the other direction and requires a short 4 minute drive due to some steep hills while lugging beach gear. All in all, we were quite comfortable on our vacation, had access to anything we needed and we will be back!

Great family get away

This home is perfect for a small family trip and the location tin Governor's Harbor if great. Patrick was very attentive if we needed anything. It was nice having the pool right outside the door and the evening stargazing was amazing!

Absolutely a must do !

Perfectly located in the heart of town , walking distance to “coffee” sorry priorities first ;) and stores ! Buccaneer restaurant located only a minute walk from the house, live music tues night ! House is cottage comfy with beautiful pool , great wifi , lovely kitchen! I will be back next year !!!

Heavenly Bahamas Getaway

We didn't want to leave Mrs. Russell's house! A charming house with all the modern conveniences nestled in a lovely property with beautiful gardens and in walking distance to The Buccaneer Club. Truly, could not have picked a better spot in Governor's Harbour. Thank you Joy and Dominic for all of your insights and assistance. Our family will be back!
