Welcome to this beautifully updated Gulf Front Phoenix II condo in Orange Beach, Alabama! You will enjoy this 2 bedroom 2 bath 6th floor condo (920 sq ft) with outstanding gulf views! The unit is beautifully updated with beachy chic decor throughout, granite in kitchen and baths, and stainless appliances in the kitchen. The complex boasts of a multitude of amenities! Outdoor pool, Indoor pool access, tennis, fitness, racquetball, game room, hot tubs and business center. Amenities amongst Phoenix 1-4 (all located side by side) can be shared throughout your stay! The Phoenix 2 building is located in the heart of the Orange Beach, beach front shops and restaurants. You will not have to venture far (unless you want to), to enjoy beach eats, shopping, sun, and fun!

You will find a digital beach guide upon arrival that will help with ideas of area establishments, condo information, contact info and more.

This condo sleeps up to 8 people. The gulf front master bedroom has a king bed, walkout balcony overlooking the beautiful white sandy beach, and ensuite. The second bedroom has a full over full bunk. Lastly the living room has a full size pull out couch. (Please keep in mind- pull out sofa sleepers are most comfortable for children or very small people).

Up to 2 parking passes are allowed for this unit. The parking passes are purchased at the front desk area upon arrival. The HOA collects the payment of $55 for ea. parking pass upon arrival at the front desk. They will also give you your wristbands at this time. Please be sure to wear wristbands while on property and utilizing the amenities.

An access code will be sent to you automatically via vrbo 2 days prior to arrival to be used throughout your stay.

Would Not Stay Again

While there were several good things about our stay, they were mostly outside of this condo. The smell of mildew and old wet towels overshadowed our enjoyment of being in the unit and was almost unbearable. We thoroughly cleaned the bathrooms ourself and wiped down the unit to see if that would help in any way and it did not. I could tell the unit had recently been painted but the quality of the workmanship, furnishings, bathroom fixtures, etc was a disappointment and I definitely would NOT stay again for these reasons.

I’ll start with the positive. The location of this property is great and views from the balcony are fantastic. Property manager was responsive. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the condo. It was filthy. Furniture in living room was heavily stained. Kitchen is very small. Doors to laundry are broken so you can’t close off the noise from the washer/dryer. Dryer had to be ran 3-4 times to get clothes dry. Dishwasher makes a terrible sound when you shut it. Balcony hadn’t been cleaned at all and was sandy with trash on it. TV in spare bedroom is pretty much worthless. Property manager did send someone out quickly to look at the TV but we could not watch netflix because of no Ethernet cable. Bathtubs have mold. Shower curtain is broken in main bedroom. Bunk bed is not safe. Main door does not latch well. Only one elevator functioning the entire trip and it was not acting normal most of the time so we frequently had to take 6 flights of stairs. This was our 8th stay in orange beach and we thought being at a Pheonix would be a safe bet so given the condition of the condo and property we were pretty disappointed. I did discuss some of these things with the property manager and she informed me that being the end of the season these properties take a good beating and she is having maintenance do a thorough evaluation of the property once we check out. Unfortunately for us, we paid peak rate to be told it would all be fixed when we leave.

Great location

Right on beach. Great amenities. Master bed was comfortable. I couldn’t make use top bunk of bunk bed due to limited rail. Other than that, it was perfect for our use
