Storybook Chalet inside Yosemite National Park

The Cedar Chalet is located inside Yosemite National Park in a small private development called Yosemite West. When staying at the Chalet you do not need a separate entrance reservation to the park that are required for other park visitors. The home is centrally located to all of the Park's major attractions. Yosemite Valley is 20 minutes away - Glacier Point is 25-30 minutes - The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoia Trees is 35 minutes and Badger Pass Ski Resort (renowned for it's ski school for young skiers) is located 8 miles away. The home has all of the amenities you'd want in a vacation getaway - Satellite TV, Pool Table, a Sauna and an outdoor Spa that's perfect after a day of hiking!. The Chalet sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, and a loft with a sofa bed. 2 inflatable Aero beds are also available. The beds all feature pillow top mattresses & down comforters for the perfect night's sleep. The chalet has traditional gas heating, as well as a wood stove. Treat yourself to the best location in the Park with all of the amenities you'd want for your ultimate Yosemite Vacation.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash used towels and place in the dryer. Start dryer. (You may skip towel washing if you are leaving early and text owner so that housekeeper can arrive early to do them)
Take all trash with you. There is no trash can at the property as it attracts bears. Dumpsters are available in the Bridal Veil Falls parking lot and behind Wawona Store if you are leaving via Hwy 41
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Take all trash with you at the end of your stay we do not have garbage pick up. Trash may be disposed at Bridal Veil Falls parking lot.

This was an ideal property for a mixed group on our first visit to the park. Beautiful living area, good kitchen and lovely porch. The grill and hot tub were good amenities after hiking. The hosts were excellent communicators both when booking and during the trip. I would highly recommend and stay here again.

Communication was great to start off with. The property was amazing!! Hikes were all within 35 minutes of the house. After a long day of hiking, the hot tub was awesome! Also the beds were so very comfortable!!!We would highly recommend this house for a Yosemite visit.

Our overall stay was good.The upstairs bed needs repairs to themetal canopy structure. The bed creakedevery time we moved or turned over.The cold water faucet in the upstairs mastersuite did not work. Down stairs 2nd bedroom has a hole in the ceiling with possible slow water drip down. The sliding screen door was not operational.Hand rails for outdoor stairs need refinishing and repairsto prevent splinters and injury from exposed screw heads. But we enjoyed being able to stay close to an event for convenience andloved being in Yosemite.

This was our second visit to this lovely cabin. We really enjoyed all the amenities and it really is wonderful to be staying inside the park and not having to drive that extra time just to get to the Valley floor. It’s so worth the cost. Eric was very helpful when we had questions or issues. He was quick to respond. The sunsets are lovely to watch on the deck, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It’s exactly what you look for on this type of getaway. We would recommend this location to our friends and family for future stays at Yosemite.

The house was just as advertised. Location is great as it’s only 30 min from the valley, glacier point, and mariposa grove. The driveway can be a bit challenging to get up and down without scraping your car, but if you stay to the far left when going up and backing down it can be done. The kitchen has everything you need, beds were comfortable, and the pool table and hot tub were great additions for after a day exploring the park. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful location and so easy to get around in the park. My kids/teens loved the pool table and the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We had plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay. Amazing location - close to tunnel view! Enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi. We cooked our meals, so we especially appreciated the gas stove in the kitchen! Would definitely stay again!

This place was epic. The house was immaculate with that perfect cabin feel. Hot tub was clean and exactly what we needed for the evenings. The pool table was great. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed and then some. We came to get married and this place was the perfect place to start our new life together. We did our first look in the forest behind the house under a perfectly arched tree. Our pups loved it too!
