I'll start with PROs:- Spacious 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment with kitchen stocked with cooking utensils and some basics (oil, vinegar, salt) and coffee with pods. - Great location in old Nice - few blocks from the Cathedral and the beach- Washing machine (no dryer)- AC- TV with streaming services you can hook up to (if you have an account)- All room renovated, tall ceilings, windows that open up to the street- Close to tram line- Good valueCONs:- Very noisy at night from restaurants below (even on weekdays)- 3rd bedroom is downstairs in windowless room- 1 bathroom, which is far from all the bedrooms- Taxis can't drop you off in front- One floor walk up- Very dingy stairwell, with trash and not a secured entrance (these issues were purportedly being fixed and management is aware)

Overall, the house was clean, and the location inside the old town was very convenient for exploring the area. However, the central location also meant it was quite noisy. One of the three bedrooms is located in the basement, which was a major downside for us. The stairs leading down to the basement were inconvenient and felt potentially unsafe, with a risk of falling. The basement also had a strong unpleasant smell, and the portable air conditioner was very noisy when running, making it difficult to rest comfortably. On a personal note, the basement bedroom also felt quite dark and eerie to me, which made me uncomfortable. If you are sensitive to basement rooms or expect all three bedrooms to offer a similar level of comfort, I would recommend considering these factors carefully before booking. The location is great, but the basement room may not be suitable for everyone.
