About this property

Spacious one-bedroom apartment with great natural light. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Boston. The apartment includes one bedroom, dining room, living room, a full kitchen and a bathroom with tub/shower. We are within a 10-12 minute walking distance to the Arnold Arboretum - a great spot to experience the outdoors in Boston - and a 7-8 minute walk from Roslindale Village; with many bars, restaurants, shops and a local farmer's market to enjoy. Forest Hills MBTA station is a 20-minute walk away. Guests have access to the back porch and our large and sunny back yard. Off-street parking available in our large driveway. Washer/dryer is available to guests.

Enjoyed our stay

Great location for our stay in Roslindale. Comfortable and clean. Appreciate Jonathan allowing an early check in and keeping us informed of work being done on the outside of the house. He was easily reached when we had a question. Would definitely recommend for others wanting to stay in or around Roslindale.

we enjoyed our stay overall. Bed was too soft in our opinion and we would have liked to have a ceiling fan in the living room and bedroom. The fan would have kept us from running the AC units most nights. Other than that it is a very nice unit and would stay again if we are in the area again.

About the host

My partner Dara and I own and live in the building where the apartment is located. We reside upstairs in the second floor unit. The first floor has its own separate locking entrances in the front and rear of the house. We care for the apartment as our own and are easily accessible to guests as needed.

Why they chose this property

This place is a gem. It's spacious, yet cozy. We love walking to the parks nearby and having easy access to Roslindale Village where there are bars, restaurants, a supermarket, two great bakeries, and other shops.

What makes this property unique

Guests will have access to the back porch and yard with a fire pit in warmer months. There's also plenty of space indoors to stretch out. The bedroom is located in the rear of the house and our neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Parking in our large driveway is available to all guests.
