Alice, the owner, was extremely nice and responsive. They provide amazing accommodations with outdoor firepit activities, seafood experiences, and indoor entertainment! Definitely reccomend!

Perfect honeymoon spot.
We fell in love with this tiny town & the cottage. It’s so remote & so beautiful. We enjoyed sunrises on the beach & even a sunset on the schoodic point! Only 15 mins from the cottage. Our hosts were fantastic & always answered any and all questions i had. We even were left a honeymoon gift & champagne. They really went above and beyond. Corea will forever have be our special place & we can’t wait to come back!

The essence of Maine
We (4 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand Cove Cottage. I chose it because the pictures of the cottage said ‘Maine’ to me and the cottage and Corea did not disappoint. Schoodic is so close and although we did go to Desert Island to see Acadia, we went to Schoodic twice and it was so much quieter with all the beauty. The host was very receptive and kept us up to date as we came in the day after tropical storm Lee. It was all so perfect! The cottage was clean and comfortable. We hope to go back some day.

This is a well equipped, clean, pleasant home in a lovely area away from the touristy bustle of the Main Coast. Our hosts were excellent.

We are a Maine couple that own a boat building business. Many years ago, we lived in a log cabin and brought our kids up near this Cottage in the Village of Corea by the Sea. Recently we had the opportunity to purchase this home and since then, we have renovated it a bit and furnished for our guests. We are happy to share our home with travelers and know that each stay will be unique.

What makes this property unique

Relaxation. Quiet hiking and wildlife sightings. Lobsterfishing tours close by. Bicycling country roads or bike paths close by. Not far from Acadia National Park and recreation...but far enough away to leave the traffic behind.
