Fun and trendy place that is super clean! An easy walk into the plaza for shops and restaurants. The owner was very welcoming and communicated thoroughly and quickly. I highly recommend this place!
Worked perfectly for our family of 3 and pup! The kitchen was amazing for a rental and we were able to cook meals here! It was a safe and comfortable spot and close to everything. Will be back! thanks!
This was such a cute and cozy adobe! Perfect for a girls trip! We loved how close the property was to everything and really enjoyed evenings just chatting in the common area. The house was spotless and stocked with all of your everyday needs. Highly recommend! We will be returning
A great location if you have a car, especially if you're going to opera, as it's a 8-minute drive to the theatre from the location, and there's plenty of location. Although it's on the Paseo, there's not much traffic noise as the door faces an inside courtyard. The décor has charm, and the hosts have put a lot of thought into amenities. They're also communicative and helpful.
Just off the Paseo, this gem is in an office complex with no activity in the evenings. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and the short walk to the Plaza was marvelous people watching. This is a great property to have quiet evenings while diving into the Santa Fe action during the day.
We stayed in Santa Fe four nights to perform with an ensemble. Our rehearsals and performance were just blocks away from this quiet casita. We enjoyed walking to the plaza knowing our car was safely parked at home, and the the interior was so welcoming each time we did return. Our host offered snacks and champagne for us and checked every box with this lovely place. We will definitely return. Thank you!
Great place near the Plaza in Santa Fe! Excellent info passage from Charlotte throughout. Easy to find and check-in, very comfortable suite (large bedroom, large living room, large kitchen, and nice bathroom). Lots of extras included…nice welcome bag with snacks and even a bottle of local sparkling wine (Gruet). Great parking available just outside the room, and while the building is on a busy road (as advertised), there was minimal road noise. Definitely a 10.0 kind of place for visiting Santa Fe! We’ll be back!
Pleasant property just a few blocks from the Plaza downtown area. Located in a business park, the adobe style apartment is clean, cute, and comfortable. Our bedroom window was located on a main road, so there is some road noise. No outdoor curb appeal, but comfortable for overnight needs.
It is a nice, well-stocked unit with great walkable access to many sites and places of interest. The rental is in a mixed use facility which is a little quirky but wasn’t an issue for us. There is plenty of parking. Renters should be aware that there is some noise from a busy-ish roadway adjacent to the property but owners left sleep masks and earplugs to help. Check-in and out was seamless as the property owners sent emails detailing the process for both. Overall I would recommend this place to stay!
Overall the property was good. The sofa sleeper is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend having a good nights sleep on it. A few other quarks but decent location. Lots of road noice. Not a quiet place and lacking outdoor space that is welcoming. You’re basically in a parking lot.
The house was clean and safe.
The property is very good but the air condition is very poor.
Only two airconditioners at the room no at the kitchen and they are portable.
Very hot during the day
This location was perfect for a family of 3 with a teen over three nights. Walking into the plaza area is almost a straight shot. The area is safe, clean and quiet at night, even with being located a major thoroughfare. There are great grocery stores a few min drive away for cooking in and plenty of walkable food options for take-out. The space is lovely, just as the photos depict. Having off street parking is fantastic. There are plenty of cameras and lighting for overnight security. The courtyard is perfect for breakfasts in the cool of the morning or a dinner under the lights. We found the kitchen to be fully stocked to support meal prep. Comms from Charlotte were prompt and full of great tips and details. Happy to stay at a Casa de Huerto property!
Cozy, clean, stunning property in heart of Santa Fe
I absolutely loved my stay at this property, will definitely be back! Every detail from pre-booking through check out, was thoughtful and clear. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home while in Santa Fe.
The space is beautifully decorated, incredibly cozy and quiet. The bed was very comfortable (I'm currently on a cross country road trip and have stayed in some not so great beds along the way). I slept wonderfully. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you need (I recommend coffee and pastries from Dolina bakery a short walk away). Parking was a dream.
A few minutes of walking and you're in the heart of Santa Fe plaza with many shops and restaurants (I recommend La Boca for dinner one night - came highly recommended from Charlotte).
My communication with Charlotte was easy and quick. I had a couple of questions regarding local spots to check out and I was always given a thoughtful, helpful and prompt response. Their guidebook was also very helpful in selecting activities.
I will definitely come back to stay!
The condo was adorable and the hosts were very responsive. Location is walking distance to everything. The neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoyed the city and the food.
We will definitely be back!
Charming inside the unit/Unexpected environment outside the unit
Loved the place. Very comfortable. Very cozy. Supplied with everything. Clean and owner is very responsive.
The only Issue for us was the actual location, though very close to the center of town which was great, the outside environment was odd. It was in a commercial setting/building and it was difficult to turn off the major road at night because signage isn't visible until you're just about to pass the entry. It took a couple of days to get we used to finding the driveway.
It was definitely very nice and comfortable, inside.

About the host
Hosted by Charlotte Fox
After living out of her suitcase for ten years and and a hot and muggy day in Tokyo, Charlotte met her husband on a busy street corner in Omotesando. A whirlwind romance and a handful of Japanese paparazzi later, together, they set off on their journey home to unpack-for good. Established in late 2020, Casa de Huerto grew out of Charlotte's love for her hometown and her desire to share Santa Fe's magic with visitors from all around the world.
In two years, CDH has grown exponentially, from a single property vacation rental into a multiple property company. From cozy, one bedroom adobes in the center of town, to elegant cabins in the mountains (coming soon!)- CDH has a little something for everyone.
The family grew in tandem with the company. Charlotte is now joined by her two sons, Kit and Baby Bo and the goofy but well intentioned yellow lab, Blue.
Casa de Huerto believes that good vacations are only as good as the people that help shape them. This belief is at the root of every decision we make. Happy homes make happy people.
