After a day of adventure, come be our guest and relax in this calm, comfortable, and stylish home. The house is nestled away in a charming, quiet neighborhood, yet remains within walking distance of Jack Sprat, the Girdwood Brewing Company, the Sitzmark, the Bake Shop, and La Bodega.

This single story, family-friendly home features an open floor plan, and a well-equipped, full kitchen with a hood vent and stainless steel appliances. Come together for a meal around the dining room table, or pull up a barstool at the kitchen counter. Gather around a cozy sitting area and enjoy a game or favorite show.

All bedrooms feature room darkening blinds/curtains. The master bedroom has a king bed, and private powder room with a sink and toilet. A second bedroom has a queen bed. A cozy sleep alcove offers a twin bed with a privacy curtain.

Amenities include WiFi, a smart TV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a selection of games.

This home is part of a duplex. The two units have no shared walls, and the entrances for each unit are on opposite sides of the property. The other unit is located above the garage, and is occupied by a long-term renter. Guests do not have garage access.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Girdwood Retreat was perfect for our Thanksgiving escape. Lovely home with handcrafted attention to detail for everything you need. The beds are platform style and somewhat low, but about the most comfortable we have had in a VRBO. Not too hard, not too soft, just right! Quiet location & attentive host. We hated to leave!

Beautiful comfortable house exactly as looks in pictures

We loved this location and the house was convenient and so comfortable. It has everything we could have needed and the bed was very comfy. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay.

We truly enjoyed our time here. Nice modern appliances, great binder of things to do and see, clear communication, reliable internet for remote work. We would definitely stay here again.
