Quiet, secluded home on a hilltop with mountain view! This is your HOME BASE for all things in Western North Carolina!
Minutes from Downtown Asheville and all the food, breweries, art and culture.
Looking for adventure? Hop in the car to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, biking, water sports just a short drive.
End of the day with s'mores by the fire pit or relax on our covered porch!
The space
A mountain retreat, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just south of downtown Asheville offers a relaxing escape. Our home sits on 4 acres on a private road, with plenty of mountain views, and offers nearby access to all that western NC has to offer.

We are located in Asheville, NC just south of downtown.

KITCHEN:
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, including spices and oils and condiments. Our dining room is adjacent to the kitchen or dine outdoors on the covered deck!

OUTDOOR LIVING:
Enjoy the views from the covered deck, comfortable seating and dedicated outdoor dining space. Swing by the store and grab your s’mores ingredients, there is a fire pit out back waiting for you after a day full of exploring!

PETS:
We allow up to 2 dogs and charge $20 per stay. Please clean up pet waste inside the fenced in area and around the fire pit, we have provided waste bags.

WILDLIFE:
We have an abundance of wildlife to view on our property. Birds, Butterflies, Lightning bugs, Wild Turkeys, Coyotes, Fox and our neighborhood Black Bear!

DRIVEWAY:
Please note that the driveway is long and gravel mountain driveway. It is typical of mountain homes- you want mountain views, you live on a mountain, so you have a sloped mountain driveway!

There is plenty of parking at the top for 5 cars with an additional space for 2 cars at the bottom. We don’t want anyone to be surprised, your comfort and enjoyment is our #1 priority!!!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
You may see us on the property for a minute or two to take care of the trash on Thursday.

Great mountain location

We knew this would be a great vacation when arriving we were greeted by a mama bear and her three cubs at the top of the steep driveway! This property is in a great location close to Asheville and other activities, but it feels like it is by itself in the forest. The two-story layout was ideal for our family of six adults and three children. There are a couple of workstations and a table on the deck for those unfortunate enough to have to work on vacation. Sunsets on the deck are spectacular, and we enjoyed the large table on the deck for eating and playing games. The kitchen is a great size for multiple chefs, and well-stocked (but you might want to bring a can opener and extra dish towels).

Nice place, rough gravel hill to get up. Need suv or a truck. Master needs ceiling fan. Otherwise updated place and quiet. Lots of space!

Family Fun

The house was clean and well equipped with amenities. The fenced in back yard was great for our dog to do his thing without needing a close eye on him. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet family and pet friendly house near Asheville.

Great weekend stay

We stayed at this house during a long weekend. Great location, secluded enough to be nice and quiet, pretty area, but still close to downtown Asheville. My kids absolutely loved playing with some of the toys. Would recommend staying here!

Gracious Hosts

The hosts gave me plenty of info regarding how to get to the house with shared driveway. There was lots of space for the family, with a wonderful kitchen and all items needed to truly feel comfortable and homey.
