Nice rustic peaceful house in a quiet tucked away corner surrounded by trees. Host was responsive to questions and issues as they came up. Note, google maps did not direct to the correct location!
We had a lovely stay here with our toddler. The patio and grill were perfect for cooking and enjoying the stars. Definitely will book again in the future.
Enjoyed a late summer visit. Neat place, only @12 minutes to PTown or Wellfleet and 10 min to ocean beaches. Comfortable place - lot of room inside. Rustic and charming with a very nice host ☺️
The location of this home was great….a 10 minute drive from Provincetown and only a couple minutes away from local beaches. This property is not air-conditioned, which we didn’t realize until arriving. (It is not advertised as having AC, we made an incorrect assumption). A family member with a mold allergy had a rough couple of days during our stay.
No hot water leaky ceiling. We had water come in the house literally.
Our steak was horrible. No hot water. Water coming in off the ceiling lumpy beds it was not a pleasant stay at all the worst place I've ever stayed at off of verbo.

He called early morning and wanted to get in...we were there...We encountered no hot water..we gave him our waterfront house to use...We replaced the elements on hot water..no luck..called plumber..called electrician..both went there on the biggest weekend for Blessing of Fleet..Getting both men to work on it was a big favor!! They had access to the other house to shower..The plumber went back on Monday and found and fixed pblm..His family was staying nearby..He had options..It was the worst weekend to get help due to the Feast..We did our best..Also, we were there and it rained..there were no leaks!! He also brought in more guests. He is not welcome to return

My overall impression of this property is that it is very outdated. I’m not sure of the safety of the plugs on the wall. The bathroom did not have a ceiling and you could actually look in from the family room into the bathroom. I would’ve loved to clean up The sand and dirt that was brought into the house, but the vacuum did not work. My family managed to have a good time despite the sketchy house.

Our house has a different contemporary design..To let light into the bath, the architect used corrugated see thru ceiling sheets..We have a cleaning company, and the vacuum is a dyson..It works fine, but one needs to know how to use it..We've had our electric panel moved to the basement last year. We use a licensed electrician..Being mostly wood and cinderblock construction, it is different..we and many others love it!
Love the location and outdoor shower. House is run down but comfortable. None of the outlets worked in 2 of the bedrooms and no extension cords. Towel are new but made of the cleaning terry cloth and dont absorb water.. had to use our own towels

There is no problem with electricity...she should have called us..The house is a contemporary and perhaps she didnt know how to use house.
Main problem is the host: not kind, often no response at all, not opened to discussion, very disapointing experience. When you call and two times the person just hang out on you, this is a lack of respect. I would rather rent a hotel room or a house who offer a nice service for future vacation.

You wanted to cancel days before your trip. I told you I would try to sublet it. I could not open calendar at such a late date. There is a no cancellation policy..especially at the last minute. I told you this..You are persistent and were told I'd do my best.. I am very kind and for you to say this without knowing me is slander. I never hung up on you. You are unreasonable and I will never host you or recommend you..
An older jewel with great location and attentive owner. —surprise of made beds with towels! I mailed my linens in advance.
Artsy and funky was a good summary. Expect functional with GREAT outdoor space.
We giggled about the oddity of light switches, non working plugin outlets, and walls that leave most of the upper space open. We loved the location, multiple fans, outdoor shower and beach stuff left for guest comfort. The dishwasher doesn’t work = my 4 stars on accuracy. I felt sad about all the water use. We have family close by and may rent again.
No details as to close-up so we guessed. Vaccuum not working so we did the best we could with brooms.

Good Stay but BYOS
Well, this is our third trip using VRBO and it was a total opposite of what we had experienced in the past. We chose this house because it was the only house available for the date and location we wanted.
We did like the wrap around porch and the living room area. There are plenty of ventilation and the ceiling fans worked extremely well. Part of the house can use some renovation or upgrade but for a place to lay down at night this house provides enough. There are plenty of things to do nearby, hiking trails, beaches, restaurant, and more so you can't get bored here.
We didn't get the check-in instruction well in advanced like the other two places but when inquired, we received prompt response. The communication with the owner has been very positive so kudo for that. The only disappointment we had was the linens and towels. We didn't see where or were not aware about the amenities that if linens and towels are not mentioned, that means you must bring your own stuff. Besides that, this overall trip was fine.

Not supplying linens is in the listing...this keeps the price down..But we are considering listing with and without..if one goes for 1 week and pays extra 50 nightly..thats 350...People save that if they bring their own linens...it is a horrible economic time...just trying to keep prices down
