My tennis team had a 3 night trip and absolutely loved the house, the view, the porches, fire pit, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We also rented their pontoon boat and had 4 hours of a wonderful boat ride around the lake. The owner was very responsive to questions. There were nearby restaurants and shops and on Saturday night we went to the town square for a Bluegrass Jam. Were already planning for next year!!😊

Perfect Reunion
This place is awesome. We were there for 2 weeks. Fantastic views. The dock worked well for our 22' pontoon boat. The other lakeside amenities were also great. We had several campfires in the fire pit, went on long rides in the kayaks, and enjoyed swimming in the lake.
We had 10 people at one point and it did not feel crowded inside. The side porch was perfect for our family to gather for meals and just hang out. The beds were good, the bathrooms were good, and the WiFi worked well. We made many great meals in the kitchen.
Highly recommend!

Great Lake Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at the Main House on the lake. I love that there are plenty of places to congregate in the house. My husband and I, as early rises enjoyed drinking our coffee and conversing on the porch overlooking the lake away from the bedrooms and our sleeping adult children. I love all the windows letting in light and gorgeous views of the lake. The home is very easy to get to, close to Rabun Boathouse, Max’s Lakeside restaurant, and a short drive to get groceries. My knees love that the house is so close to the lake and dock, and only a few steps. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook with-mixer, crockpot, colander, skillet , etc. we did quite a bit of cooking. We enjoyed the kayaks and floats.

Lake rabun review
Beautiful location, but in need of repair, cleaning and updating. Floors, windowsills needed to be cleaned as well as stove and oven. Blinds in bedrooms not operable. Advertised primary bedroom with a renovated walk in shower, old tub instead. Numerous exposed nail heads on steps leading into the lake - dangerous. Kayaks were not usable - broken/missing backs. Outdoor areas were not clean with ripped and/or dirty cushions. Not stocked with quality consumables. Could be a great rental if listed items corrected.
