Enjoyed a quiet weekend here in October. We primarily stayed in the cabin reading for the weekend as it was rainy but enjoyed the views and birdwatching from the deck. The location is very private tucked away in the trees. The cabin is rustic on the outside but well appointed inside. Very clean and comfortable for two people. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the bathroom is really nice with a large shower.
Wish I could give this rental more than 5 stars! Very clean and well-appointed. The view, the location, the cabin itself - just delightful. I can’t wait to come back.
Beautiful view! Cozy house with all the amenities - appreciated the smart TV on a rainy night. The driveway down to the house was a bit rough for a small car, ended up parking at the top after the first night. Inside, everything was very clean and tidy. Good ventilation with the opening windows and air conditioning.
This tiny house had everything we needed for our two night stay. The full sized bathroom and ability to stand in the loft area make you forget you’re in a tiny house! It was great to be surrounded by forest out of every window and truly be immersed in nature. We would definitely stay here again.

So happy to hear you had a good stay! Can’t wait to host u again. 😊
We had a lovely week at the Robins Nest Tiny Chalet! Everything was clean and well organized. Beautiful view from the outdoor deck! The hosts were very prompt and helpful with their replies. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to vacation in the Nelson/Balfour area.
We really enjoyed our stay in this unique cozy cabin. It has everything we need and is in a lovely peaceful quiet location. It’s a beautiful view to wake up to and the deck is great for relaxing and star gazing. We especially appreciate the cost being more reasonable than most other short term accommodation. Thank you !
This cabin was perfect for us, it’s nestled in the woods in a private spot. The view was lovely from the deck and lots of windows makes it bright inside the cabin. The cabin was made to include everything you may need. Clean and well cared for and really endearing. The host was wonderful, responsive and very informative about local areas to explore. We love this cabin as a jumping off point between adventures. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Great views, very sucluded and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. The description and pictures of the place were spot on so no surprises. Communication with the hosts was great and made it very easy to find the place. The only downfall which wasn't the fault of the hosts is the wasps swarming around made it difficult to enjoy the deck. Mentioned it to the hosts and they said they would look into getting some traps. Would definitely stay there again if we are back to that area.
a great place for a retreat deep in the woods but close to the ferry
Not suitable for older adults or those with mobility issues because access is down a steep dirt road, (no pathways, gardens or lawn) I was grateful to be able to unplug the wireless router so i could sleep well and really relax in the peace and quiet with such lovely views down to the lake.

There are multiple parking spots right by the door. The driveway to our tiny home may be on an incline however it is easily accessible by all cars to park within feet of the cabin.
Due to droughts and fires in the area (now the norm) our poor lawns and gardens brown over the hot summer months, but non the less are there. Before fire season (spring and early summer) the wild flowers are majestic with beautiful lavender blossoming all in front of the cabin. We try to provide a 5* experience to all our guests and will continue to try and improve to meet our guests expectations.
Just loved the location! The deck is the best part. Not ideal beds if 4 adults. Just know the pull out couch is super hard. But location makes up for it. Could use a mattress topper. Very clean! Great service.
